Wireless communication network courses are said to be complex and difficult, particularly to novice students. They failure in understanding and inability to visualize and illustrate how wireless communication network is operates. Thus, this paper recommends a conceptual framework to overcome the problem. The technology that used is a visualization technique. In this paper we propose the architecture named Wireless Kits (Wkits) as one of the available learning support tools that can help novice students in enhancing their understanding of the wireless communication. This kits focus in wireless networking such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WSN and RFID technology.

This paper discusses the findings of a study that examined the effectiveness of the combined meth... more This paper discusses the findings of a study that examined the effectiveness of the combined method based on the Half-Sweep (HS) iteration and the Modified Successive OverRelaxation (MSOR) method in solving path planning problems faced by a mobile robot when operating in indoor environments. This method used the Laplace's equation to compute the distribution of potential values in the simulated environments that helped generate the safest path along which the robot would be able to move from a specified starting position to a goal position without the risk of colluding with any obstacles present in the environments. The findings confirmed that the proposed HSMSOR was the most effective method compared to other existing iterative methods, given that it performed the lowest number of iterations and used the least amount of computational time.

Effective learning and teaching of wireless communication however, require student to visualize and illustrate in understanding the technical and how the communication network is operates. This paper recommends a conceptual framework to overcome the inability student in learning wireless communication network course which is complex and difficult especially for novice student. The aim of the course is to teach student not only programming and hardware design but also basic teamwork and project management skills in the field of wireless networks through the active learning using the tools that we proposed. In this paper we proposed the architecture named Wireless Kit (Wkits) as one of the support tools that help novice student in enhancing their understanding of learning wireless communication. Terdapat pelajar yang menghadapi masalah dalam memahami konsep asas sesuatu pelajaran yang diajarkan secara maya dan bergantung secara teori sahaja. Sebuah kit pembelajaran visualisasi telah dibangunkan sebagai alat dan bahan bantu mengajar (ABBM) yang dinamakan sebagai VizWSN. Penggunaan alat dan bahan mengajar banyak memberikan sumbangan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman pelajar serta kualiti pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam kalangan pengajar dan pendidik. Dua aspek penting yang diterapkan dalam kit tersebut ialah pengetahuan konseptual iaitu pengetahuan teori dan pengetahuan melalui pengalaman secara visualisasi iaitu praktikal.
