The current research presents a novel prospective methodology of ball milling, where it is used as a facile and green technique for water remediation. The movement of the planetary ball mill imparts enough force such that reactive species are produced which are responsible for organic dye degradation. One of the results in the parametric analysis showed that by using 0.30 g of the 0.5Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3–0.5(Ba0.7Sr0.3)TiO3 (BST–BZT) powder, 62% of the methylene blue (MB) dye was degraded in 60 minutes.

The microprocessor controls different sensors of the tailless mini copter, where python programming language acts as an interface for the raspberry pi microprocessor. The major challenge is to overcome is the inertial rotation of the copter due to the absence of a tail rotor. The inertial rotation can be cancelled out by implementing the co-axial mechanism with contra-rotating propellers. The copter would make its place where other UAVs cannot reach, because of its compact design and low self-weight. Integrating more sensors would open a wide range of applications in different fields.

The composition of 0.5Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3-0.5(Ba0.7Sr0.3)TiO3 (BST-BZT) was examined for photocatalysis, piezocatalysis, and piezo-photocatalysis processes by degrading an azo dye named methylene blue (MB). Generally, dis-aligned dipoles restrict the catalytic activities due to which the BST-BZT powder sample was poled by the corona poling technique. Coupled piezocatalysis and photocatalysis process, i.e., the piezo-photocatalysis process has shown maximum dye degradation. There was a significant improvement in degradation efficiency by using a poled BST-BZT sample compared to the unpoled sample in all processes, thus the results suggest an extensive scope of poled ferroelectric ceramic powder in the catalysis field.

However, today, data used to engineer software can have inherent biases (e.g. gender identity) with inclusiveness concerns. While much attention has been given to this topic in the AI/ML space, in this paper, we examine another data-centric software engineering process, A/B testing, for which we have a dearth of understanding today. Using real-world data from the Windows out of box experience (OOBE) feature, we provide a case-study of how inclusiveness concerns can manifest in A/B testing, practical adjustments to A/B testing towards inclusive software engineering, and insights into ongoing challenges. We discuss implications for research and practice.
Mastitis is defined as inflammation of the mammary gland and one of the most serious concerns wit... more Mastitis is defined as inflammation of the mammary gland and one of the most serious concerns with regard to milk production and animal health in the dairy industry. Indeed, mastitis has marked influence on the milk constituents, quality and yield. We performed a comparative proteome analysis of the bovine milk obtained from healthy, sub-clinical and clinical mastitis from Indian indigenous cattle Karan Fries. The collected milk was categorized for stage of mastitis using somatic cell count (SCC), California Mastitis Test (CMT). Whey tryptic peptides were labeled with isobaric tags (iTRAQ), followed by fractionation and desalting and subjected to nano-LC coupled MS (ESI-q-TOF). Using high-resolution MS-based quantitative proteomics, we identified a total of 851 proteins with unique peptide ≥ 2, out of which 231 proteins were differentially expressed having 197 up-regulated and 34 down-regulated proteins having fold change threshold ≥ 2 to ≤ 0.5, respectively. Gene ontology and protein-protein interaction enabled us to correlate the association of DEPs with potential pathways enriched during mammary gland infection. The current study reports potential protein targets which may have potential as biomarkers for identification of mammary gland infection at early stage.

The incidence of sub-clinical mastitis (SCM) is higher (25–65% worldwide) than clinical mastitis (CM) (>5%), and frequently progresses to clinical stage due to lack of sensitive and specific detection method. We used quantitative proteomics to identify changes in milk during sub-clinical mastitis, which may be potential biomarkers for developing rapid, non-invasive, sensitive detection methods.
