Presenteeism refers to reporting at workplace even when ill or even if unwell. This approach is slowly increasing due to the rising reassure of remaining competitive and excelling others in the unending race of competition. This is a more serious issue of concern as the data and conditions of absenteeism can be recorded, measured and diagnosed but presenteeism is comparatively difficult to assess and work upon. In fact presenteeism seems to be affecting the health of the employees much core than absenteeism thus requires a workplace attention in order to preserve the future vitality and organization credibility as a preferred place to work. The present paper emphasizes on various aspects of this concern with respect to the available factors leading to presenteeism, causes and suitable measures to reduce the dysfunctional outcome of this. It also highlights different measures available to measure presenteeism highlighting its striking features from absenteeism. The discussion will aid in bringing forth the relevance of such pertinent issue ensuring long term employee health, organization culture and climate practices intact and ensuring healthy employer employee relation along with employee productivity and efficiency.

In the past few decades, small retailers have been straggling for market share as there is seen a huge development in customer needs and change in life style of consumer drastically. At present when foreign investors are increasing day by day in modern retailing, local small retailers need to be more attentive in responding to present day competition and market changes if they want to maintain their existence in this change. Many researchers say that small retailers are declining in India as powerful retail giants (supermarkets, hypermarkets, etc) taking over the marketplace. But the report published by A T Kearney demonstrates that 92% of the retail industry is still controlled by small family-run business while only 8% of the market is captured by big retailers (Kearney 2012). This paper therefore, aims to discuss the small retailers and their role in building neighborhood community in India.

Thus, it is of growing concern to look at consumer brand switching behaviour and shade light on the factors that influence the consumer switching between different brands of mobile phones. On this basis, this paper deals with consumers' brand switching behaviour of mobile phone by studying factors that influence consumers to change their mobile phones brand and the mediating effects of customer satisfaction. Using literature review, it was found that although the purchase of a mobile phone is subjective, there are some general factors that seem to influence the switching behaviour of consumers among brands. The studies further show that among other things that influence consumer switching behaviour in the purchase of mobile phones includes reference group and product quality. In the initial stage this sector was highly un-organized, and after that it is carried forward and now it is expanding as hypermarket and supermarket. The retail sector is the second largest employer after agriculture in the country and also the second largest unexploited market after China. Due to its contribution of 14 to 15% in GDP it is also one of the pillars of Indian economy (McKinsey and Company 2007). There are some more than 14 million retailers in India. Retailing has been in our blood - as shopkeepers or as shoppers. However, unlike many other countries, India has its own unique character of size, geographical spread, cultural diversity, and multiplicity of formats being introduced at quick succession. This paper helps to give information about the journey of retail in India and evolutes the extent Different phases of retail industry from before independence to till now.
