The literature of Ismail Kadare is rich with parallelisms and allegories; it is fixed inside a fantastic background that allows the author to attack the system and the totalitarian regime in Albania, without being exposed directly. Furthermore, this study will aim to identify the fantastic and allegorical profile of this kind of publications from Ismail Kadare and will argue the literary specifics that bring the literature of this author closer to the model of literature that possess fantastic and allegorical features. We will try to give answer to some specific research questions as below: 1-Does Ismail Kadare manage to suspend contact with reality by making allegorical observations and interpretations in the novels that possess the characteristics of fantastic literature? 2-Is it possible to consider the fantastic profile of Kadare's literature and the allegoric elements in his novels as an alternative of freedom for the readers under the totalitarian communist regime? Through this research questions, we will aim to highlight that the fantastic literature in I. Kadare is a way out of the traditional framework of a totalitarian system; it has to do with themes and subjects that enable the literature of this author to be freed from isolation and censorship. Mainly because of the use of allegorical paths and fantastic perspectives, we are able to appreciate in some of the most important novels of him, a kind of literature that is able to speak to different readers in various countries, challenging the absence of freedom and the totalitarian vision of governments, by offering something different from the reality that surrounds us every day.

Ismail Kadare, Fatos Kongoli, Dritero Agolli, Kasem Trebeshina, but also Visar Zhiti, Agron Tufa, Besnik Mustafaj, etc. interpreted the journey between the past and the present as a displacement in space, as a journey through which the writer overturns the usual vision of the world. The 1990s were not only the radical undoing of a half-century-old dominant system, but also the illustration of the biblical exodus toward Western Europe. The desire to escape was present in almost every Albanian family and the number of those who challenged the borders was extraordinary for the size a small country as Albania. The large moving mass was heterogeneous and transcended any cultural, social and societal differentiation, but in literature it was also translated into the departure of a large number of potential readers and possible writers of Albanian literature. During this movement, it was possible to move away from what was known, before and the present was interpreted with a new vision and identity. In this context, we will try to analyse some problematic issues as follows:-The stage and positioning of contemporary Albanian literature-Beyond the borders of Albania-Migration literature-Shadows of the past: Rebellion of Memory

The literature of this author passes from the traditional writing to the narrative forms of magical realism, and unfolds an imagination which shows how the reality of this world cannot be separated from the mystery of our daily existence. Also, we will analyse if there is a connection between Buzzati’s literary vision and the metaphysical debate on the existence of God. These research questions, aim to highlight the fact that the most obvious novelty of Dino Buzzati's literature should be summarized in the assessment that all the echoes of Death in his works are described with humor and self-irony, ranging from jokes to punitive and apocalyptic sarcasm. Death is shrouded in the allegory of the "receiving the call"; sooner or later it knocks on the door of every human...

Political discourse on Europe and EU integration in the Albanian social and political reality has... more Political discourse on Europe and EU integration in the Albanian social and political reality has played an important role in all its continuity and evolution from the 1990s until today. It has been used by various political actors as one of the main instruments aimed at informing, propagating and communicating with the broad masses of the electorate and citizens. Discourse on Europe is also discourse as a form of thinking about identity, because all the values, beliefs and ideas it adheres to also determine how Albanian citizens see themselves in relation to the past, the present and the design of their future. The idea of Europe and the European identity of Albanians is not late among Albanians, which is articulated only from the 1990s onwards. On the contrary, the most common point of view considers the Albanian people with an early inherited European identity and also related with the geographical determination, which was lost as a result of historical fates and finally in an at...

This article focuses on the relationship between real life, Pirandello's art and his audience , pas...
