Many literatures claim that the ERP implementation is risky and challenging. Especially when HEIs are novice, it becomes important to mitigate the risk involved in ERP implementation for a successful implementation. This paper proposes a new risk based framework for ERP implementation in higher education.

This has drawn the attention of employers and universities to work hand in hand to provide real time work exposure to students in developing the required skill set by way of internship. While most universities still follow the traditional method of offering single internship, Botho College, Botswana has gone an extra mile in introducing dual Internship for its students. This enables students to identify their lacking skills from their first internship experience and develop them through customized support sessions offered by the tutors. This is believed to prepare them for the second internship. Some employers also found that the interns on second internship were of better quality due to the impact of first internship and support sessions empowering them with the necessary employability skills. Most students also found this to help them in identifying an area for final year project and focus in developing the skills required to accomplish the project work and towards future job. It also enabled them to make future decision in terms of their career prospects and higher education. This article discusses on the impact of dual internship on academic performance and employability factor in University graduates. Authors believe from the lessons learnt that dual internship promotes both the employability and technical skills in students transforming them as well rounded graduates for immediate job market.

Universities are known for their core competencies but somehow lack in training students on the workable front. So it is important for the HEIs to recognize the growing employability concern and introduce measures (e.g.) Modifications to the existing curriculum aiming on developing student's wider attributes and employability skills alongside their subject knowledge and academic skills. Good curriculum design should help learner construct understanding of not only subject matter but also develop skillful practices that could enable them to find appropriate jobs. Employability audits are becoming prominent and test how and where employability requirements are incorporated into existing curricula and where there might be gaps needing attention. Authors in this paper underwent a thorough analysis of their existing curriculum and have developed a work based skills module (WBSM) for incorporation into the curriculum. This suggested module will cater to training the student on employability skills (ie) Communication, Team building, Time and stress management, etc… Authors strongly believe in the effective redesign of curriculum as a powerful tool to build employability traits and hence confidence in future graduates to face the competitive job market. The proposed recommendations will have greater influence on preparing young graduates for their futures through education platform. Hopefully with this new curriculum changes are bound to happen whereby there would no longer be a hassle in the job market for graduates to find jobs.

Many industries struggle with different project failures including Enterprise Resource Planning (... more Many industries struggle with different project failures including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations projects which has high failure rates too. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is an extensively utilized to analyze failure modes in risk assessment in various industry projects including ERP implementation projects. Nevertheless, in the traditional FMEA system, ignoring the Interdependencies among various failure modes as well as the relative importance of risk and non-injective and non-subjective nature of conventional RPN functions leads to challenges in analysing and assessing the risk. This may mislead in the addressing the prioritization of the Risk. Therefore, an efficient FMEA framework is proposed using Fine Tuned Trapezoidal Fuzzy-based Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTTF-TOPSIS). The developed FMEA framework focuses to avoid data complications while preparing or collecting the data by using a hierarchical matrix management for data preparation. Uncertain risk, cost, and relative dependency are considered as additional parameters regarded by the work to calculate RPN. Mathematical models such as conservative method together with the Square Root Kragten Method (SRKM) are used to find the relative dependency along with uncertain risks. Thereafter, a highly reasonable along with credible outcome to rank the risk, FTTF-TOPSIS is employed. Finally, to demonstrate the proposed method's efficiency together with benefits, a comparation is made with the other models. INDEX TERMS Conservative method, cost, enterprise resource planning, FMEA, FTTF-TOPSIS, risk assessment, RPN, square root Kragten method (SRKM), uncertain risk.
