Data gathering is the main operation and this data process uses the continuous monitoring ability of WSNs. The main constraint of WSN is its energy efficiency and data gathering operation highly influences the lifetime. Multiple researches has been performed to overcome this issue of lifetime of WSNs. In the existing research EDCMS has been used along with Maximum capacity path Routing protocol. Though this method was found to be effective in terms of data gathering, the waiting time of the nodes, the deliver the gathered data to the Dynamic Sink influenced the throughput of the network. For this purpose, Optimal Mobility based Data Gathering method (OMDG) with Time-varying Maximum Capacity Path Routing protocol (TMCP) is proposed. Here CHEF was used for Clustering and, multiple dynamic sinks are used to gather the gathered data within the cluster in order to reduce the waiting time. The gathered data is delivered to the cluster head and this increases the life time of WSNs. Simulation was done through NS-2 and OMDG is compared with the multiple existing methods and results has proven to better.

Mobile sinks are mounted on moving objects, such as people, vehicles, robots, and so on. However, optimal placement of the sink for the effective management of the WSN is the major challenge. Hence, an adaptive Fractional Rider Optimization Algorithm (adaptive-FROA) is developed for the optimal placement of mobile sink in WSN environment for effective routing. The adaptive FROA, which is the integration of the adaptive concept in the FROA, operates based on the fitness measure based on distance, delay, and energy measure of the nodes in the network. The main objective of the research work is to compute the energy and distance. The proposed method is analyzed based on the metrics, such as energy, throughput, distance, and lifetime of the network. The simulation results reveal that the proposed metho...

WSN’s are distributed self-governing sensors used to monitor the physical conditions of the environment. They are constructed by “nodes” where each of them is connected to sensors. A sensor node carries all the necessary components for transmission and reception of data packets. When nodes are densely distributed or due to high flow rate, Congestion of data packets are encountered which leads to packet loss, inefficiency and lack of fairness. Hence, congestion needs to be controlled in order to improve the Quality of Service, QoS, of the system in terms of link utilization and packet loss ratio with respect to packet delay. This paper provides are overview of the variegated detection and control techniques that are available in the field. The techniques include Congestion Det...

This Pest is recognized as one of the topmost 100 destructive species in the world. This Snail is an agricultural pest devours only vegetables, fruits and sometimes sand. It also disturbs the households. It has the capacity to transmit both human and plant pathogens. This snail feeds on the stem, leaves, and flower of the cauliflower. This paper gives the brief study of various behavior of Giant African snail in acoustic environment. The Signals of various behavior of snails are recorded and analyzed using a MATLAB 2019 software. The time domain specification and frequency domain specification of pest Snails are done. Eradication of snail from its habitat is the tedious process. The eradication of snail is quite simple when it is detected automatically. This paper also suggests the identification of snails automatically by its acoustic signals and uses Machine Learning algorithm for effective detection. However, the placement of mobile sinks optimally in the network without degrading network lifetime result in a great challenge. Thus, the adjacency-based cell score factor is adopted in this research in order to place the mobile sink optimally in WSN. Here, the network is transformed into the cell using the Voronoi transformation. For each uniform-sized cell, the cluster head (CH) is selected using Sparse-Fuzzy C-means clustering. The optimal placement of the mobile sink is carried out using the adjacency-based cell score, which effectively places the mobile sink using the constrained factors, such as energy, Euclidean distance, and fairness. The proposed adjacency-based cell score obtained better performance with a minimal distance of 22.4615m, maximal energy, fairness, network lifetime, and throughput of 97.2182, 92.6064, 145, and 95.8852, respectively, while considering 400 nodes.

Data being transferred on the internet is prone to severe attacks. Securing data is kind of digital privacy measures that are implemented to prevent the data to be hacked by unauthorized person while sharing the information over the communication network. Data may be of any form like image, signal or text. Encrypting the data before being transmitted is one step taken to promote security which is the well-known process of cryptography. Steganography deals with hiding the message in any unknown format. Combination of these methods turns to be more secure. A hybrid DNA hyper chaotic based algorithm with lifting wavelet technology to secure ECG signal is proposed here. The wavelet technique that decomposes the image into four bands namely LL, LH, HH, HL. To remove the redundancies the coefficients are utilised in the encoder process. The data hiding is implemented by selective embedding process is introduced in this method by det...

This happens when the an event is detected in a network. Congestion causes packet loss thus degrading the performance of the network. Hence it necessitates to develop an effective congestion control technique. This paper focuses on congestion due to concurrent transmission. We have proposed an efficient protocol to detect and control congestion in a MAC. The occurrence of congestion is detected by calculating a new metrics called congestion scale. When the congestion scale exceeds the threshold value it intimates, that, congestion has occurred. Congestion notification signal is send to all the nodes. On receiving the notification signal all nodes adjust their transmission rate to control congestion. We have implemented Hop-by-Hop Rate Control Technique(HRCT) to control congestion and to guarantee both high throughput and minimum delay. This technique is implemented successfully in NS-2 simulator. Finally, simulation results have demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

Under idle condition, the network load is very low whereas when an event is detected the network load becomes high which leads to congestion. Due to congestion the overall performance of the network degrades. Hence it is necessary to detect and control congestion. In this paper an efficient technique to detect and control congestion has been proposed. The congestion is detected by calculating a metric called Congestion Degree (Cd). It is the ratio between packet inter arrival time and packet inter service time. Once the congestion is detected, it is notified using Implicit Congestion Notification (ICN) signaling. On receiving the congestion notification signal, the transmission rate is controlled in order to reduce congestion. Further congestion control is implemented using Fuzzy Logic Controller. The performance of the network is measured for delivery ratio with different transmission rate and the PDR is compared with CODA.
