A Survey on Fake News Detection Using Word Embedding Using the Linguistic Features
Stochastic Processes and Their Applications in Artificial Intelligence

This chapter proposes a two-phase benchmark model called Fake News Detection, which utilizes word embedding (WE) and linguistic features to identify false information using machine learning classification. The first stage involves dataset preparation and verification of news content authenticity through language features. To support its claims, the chapter introduces a unique fake news dataset comprising approximately 72,000 articles, combining diverse datasets to yield unmatched categorical output. The test results demonstrate that this model achieves a 96.73% accuracy in distinguishing real and false news, surpassing the overall accuracy of the bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) by 1.31% and convolutional neural network (CNN) models by 4.25%. By employing multi-based and analytical writing patterns, the mod...

Cloud storage is growing exponentially and monitor the data in a secure manner. Cloud computing is the delivery of different services through the Internet. These resources include tools and applications like data storage, servers, databases, networking, and software. As long as an electronic device has access to the web, it has access to the data and the software programs to run it. The one-stop shop expanded over time to include business services. The shifted from a wide product offering to capture more of the customer's grocery purchase to one of offering all the complementary products and services to a client in a particular area. Web crawlers are mainly used to create a copy of all the visited pages for later processing by a search engine, that will index the downloaded pages to provide fast searches.

Automatic Detection of Diabetic Macular Edema from B-Scanoct Images Based on Pattern Classification Techniques

Methods-In this study, using image processing methods initially the images are cropped according to the region of interest, followed by conversion from RGB to gray scale, and then median filtered method is used to de-noise them. Then, the six retinal layers are segmented using Graph-Cut Search method. Region of interest is performed on the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan and the automated retinal layers thickness measurements between the every two layers of the macula in the regions are determined. Area enclosed between the every two layers is also estimated. Local Binary Pattern (LBP) local texture features are extracted from segmented B-SCAN OCT images that are subsequently trained and tested by Support Vector Machine (SVM) and C...

Denoising and segmentation of retinal layers in optical coherence tomography images

Due to speckle noise, low image contrast and accurate segmentation of individual retinal layers is difficult. Due to this, a method for retinal layer segmentation from OCT images is presented. This paper proposes a pre-processing filtering approach for denoising and segmentation methods for segmenting retinal layers OCT images using graph based segmentation technique. These techniques are used for segmentation of retinal layers for normal as well as patients with Diabetic Macular Edema. The algorithm based on gradient information and shortest path search is applied to optimize the edge selection. In this paper the four main layers of the retina are segmented namely Internal limiting membrane (ILM), Retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), Inner nuclear layer (INL) and Outer nuclear layer (ONL). The proposed method is applied on a database of OCT images of both ten norm...
