Amidst its various merits, recently it has been observed that Ca(OH)2 treated teeth for extended periods show high failure rate because of unusual preponderance to root fracture. Newer materials like MTA and CPC have shown promising results in multiple endodontic applications including apexification. Objective: The aim of the present study is to compare the in vitro changes in the fracture resistance of human root dentin when exposed to intracanal Ca(OH)2 , MTA and CPC. A systematic cross-sectional survey was conducted. 183 dental students participated in the study by answering a self- administered validated questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of sixteen questions, relating to the knowledge, attitude and practice. The statistical analysis was conducted using Pearson’s chi-square testing.73.8 % of students had accurate overall knowledge regarding Oral Cancer, which was satisfactory. About 32.2% of students claimed to have adequate up-to-date knowledge regarding the prevention and detection of oral cancer. 81.4% students had appropriate attitude towards Oral Cancer. 88% of students employed apposite practice management skills with respect to examining patients for any cancerous lesions and took efforts for counselling the patient. Biocompatible chitosan hydrogel shows promise as a biomaterial for the prevention and treatment o... more Biocompatible chitosan hydrogel shows promise as a biomaterial for the prevention and treatment of defective enamel over Fluoride application. Thirty three human anterior extracted teeth were selected for study and divided into three groups: Group I: Control group, teeth etched with 37% phosphoric acid for 30 seconds. Group II: Teeth etched with 37% phosphoric acid for 30 seconds, coated with APF gel, then incubated at 37ºC in artificial saliva solution for 10 days. Group III: Teeth etched with 37% phosphoric acid for 30 seconds, coated with bonding agent and chitosan hydrogel, then incubated at 37ºC in artificial saliva solution for 10 days. After remineralization, enamel surfaces observed with scanning electron microscope for induced structural changes on enamel surface and surface micro hardness was evaluated. Results showed statistically significant difference (P<0.001) between all three groups. APF showed highest micro hardness of demineralized enamel although Chitosan hydrogel showed the biomimetic remineralization of enamel.

Tissue regeneration consists of three factors: stem cells, growth factors, and scaffolds. The scaffold is an artificial extracellular matrix (ECM) which serves as a template for cell growth and tissue regeneration 1. Required properties of scaffolds are they ought to be biocompatible, biodegradable, have specific physical and mechanical properties, and have to mimic the in-vivo environment. According to shape, scaffolds are of two types: preformed scaffolds and injectable scaffolds. Preformed scaffolds have the previous form whereas injectable scaffolds can be injected into destined space and form shape of in situ structure 2. Considering tiny form and size of the root canals injectable scaffolds are additionally appealing than that of preformed ones in endodontics 3. Recently certain bio-inductive materials are added into synthetic scaffolds for obtaining superior outcomes. These materials include the following: A) Bioactive molecules: They are vital for the formation of reparative dentin. They are liberated from the dentin matrix. Biomolecules induce stem cell proliferation and cytodifferentiation. e.g. cell-binding peptides and biofunctional factors 4. B) Cell instructive scaffolds: Apart from being a functional cell carrier, they also supply stepwise steering for brand new tissue formation 5. These biomaterials preferentially direct cells for movements and temporally manage neo-tissue formation. Thus known as cell-instructive biomaterials. e.g. metalloproteinase-sensitive hydrogel. C) Self-assembled nanofibres: A category of amphiphilic peptides, known as "multidomain peptides" (MDP) were designed to self-assemble into nanofibers.6 This variety of scaffolds have been developed as a replacement for the natural ECM at the nanomolecular level. e.g. KLD12 peptides. D) Injectable microspheres: These were developed for controlled drug delivery because they are small with an enormous specific surface area. Therefore used as injectable scaffolds. They are either natural or synthetic. Different techniques used for their manufacture include solvent evaporation, spray drying technique, hot melt, solvent removal, and phase inversion microencapsulation 7. So, injectable scaffolds in endodontics can be looked at as a promising era for tissue engineering. habits to prevent oral and dental disturbance in the long run 5 .

This ever growing number of cloud providers is resulting in the demand of the brokering services for cloud computing providers as the consumers requires support in acquiring appropriate services for their functionality. It require a lot of time and efforts in analyzing the market and information about various service providers. To cope up with this problem it is better for consumers to use a brokering service to finalize the cloud service provider. In last few years, the researchers have focused on developing brokering services for cloud computing environment. Mostly these brokers performs the matching of consumers requirement and facilities provided by provider. Some of the brokers also performs the ranking of providers to help the consumers. However, these broker performs this matching only on the basis of the demand of cloud resources such as processor, RAM, disk space, bandwidth etc. We call these parameters as standard attributes. In this paper, we proposed a multipurpose cloud broker system to search cloud resources with the help of standard and custom attributes and control these resources. The cloud broker provides an optimized list of cloud resources based on selected attributes to help the consumer in selection of most suitable resources. Two level architecture is used to develop this cloud broker system. At level one, there is a master broker, which consists of three modules namely registration, searching and controlling. At the second level, there is a local broker on each resource provider site. It provides information of resources to master broker and help consumers to control their leased resources. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practices of dental care waste management among private dental practitioners in Latur city. Materials and Method: The present cross sectional study was conducted among 48 private practitioners practicing in Latur city. The prefabricated validity tested questionnaire was used for the present study. The results were formulated using chi-square tests. Results: Amongst the total respondents 77.08% were males and 22.92% were females while 27.08% were postgraduates and 72.92% were undergraduates.
