The speed limit for non-recursive digital filtering is determined by the length of the weight seq... more The speed limit for non-recursive digital filtering is determined by the length of the weight sequence (pulse characteristic) of the filter and of the bit depth representations of coefficients. We reduce the bit depth when switching to subtraction methods of signal representation (e.g., differential pulse-code modulation) however, the number of non-zero values of the coefficients is significant. In this paper, we consider the method of effective transformation of weight sequence in general and specific weight coefficients to the form at which the number of bit depth is shortened, and the number of zero values is increased. The proposed methods of selecting and calculating the auxiliary sequence to reduce the number of units in the representation of these coefficients, which leads to the transition from inefficient non-recursive implementation to economic recursive. An example of such a transformation is given.

On the basis of theoretical research, we worked out a number of literary sources, which indicate ... more On the basis of theoretical research, we worked out a number of literary sources, which indicate the importance of infographics and the correctness of the information submission. To systematize the received information and solve the problem of recommendations for the creation of qualitative, understandable infographic design, it was proposed to use the theory of graphs and the method of pairwise comparisons. Using this technique, we carried out the study of the factors influencing the compositional design of infographics and established the importance of the technological process for the design of high-quality infographics. We developed the hierarchical model of the factors priorities of infographic composite design. In particular, we carried out the evaluation and optimization of the developed model, by using the pair comparison method and the relative importance scale at Saaty. The method of the hierarchy analysis provided an opportunity to evaluate elements of higher levels, based on the interconnection of different levels of the hierarchy, and not with the direct dependence of the elements on these levels.Three different design projects of infographics were explored. From the results obtained, the most effective in terms of perception and memorizing the information was a project that focused on textual design using graphic elements to enhance visual perception of information.These studies have found that the use of pairwise comparisons makes it possible to compare factors that cannot be qualified and quantified. The received calculations allow us to confirm the reliability of obtaining a high or low consistency of the results of expert surveys.

Based on experimental studies, was revealed that existing OCR systems cannot cope with complex perspective and geometric distortions that arise during photographing text document. Therefore, it is necessary to apply text documents preprocessing, so the text lines were straight and horizontal. This article briefly considers the methods document pre-processing, and found that it depends on the type of distortion and is not universal. We proposed information technology and a new method involving the mathematical raising of straightened text lines on the image and heterogeneous distortion correction based on a page surface transformation model. This technology is more reliable than others as it is universal and corrects any type of distortion, including a combination of several types of distortion.

It is shown that the obtained results give an opportunity to explore the presence and consistency of pair wise comparisons of weight factors, but also open the possibility of obtaining a numerical assessment of the interrelationships between them in the original graph. Thereby, the solution of the problem of optimizing the model of the hierarchy of the factors of compositional design of infographic provides the ordering of requirements for automation of the process of designing infographics.

However, they have several cautions to working within real-time, as they require the involvement of highly qualified experts. The paper considers alternative methods of quality assessment based on PESQ - PSQM algorithms, taking into account network factors such as delay, jitter, and packet loss during network congestion. Also, the paper shows the efficiency of using MSE calculation. Conducted an experimental study of the relationship between MSE and PESQ score for different speech signal encoders and performed conversion of MSE - MOS. The results are easily adaptable to new types of encoders and to assess the deterioration of voice signal transmission when exposed to a variety of network factors.

The task of automatic speaker identification is one of the most difficult tasks in the field of language processing. The methods used in current speaker identification systems are not ideal, that imposes some restrictions on such systems. Some systems work well in good acoustic conditions, with minimal noise, but noticeably lose recognition accuracy in low signal-to-noise conditions. The requirements for the accuracy of speaker identification for such systems set a certain bar, which increases every year. Improving authentication accuracy extends the scope of such systems, including biometric multi-factor authentication systems, remote banking, access control systems, and more. Thus, to meet the needs of these systems consumers, the high requirements for the speaker recognition accuracy are required.

In this paper, we have presented a results of the research concerning selection of informative ge... more In this paper, we have presented a results of the research concerning selection of informative genes based on the complex use of both statistical criteria and Shannon entropy. The main objective of the research is development a technique of selection of the groups of gene expression profiles which allow dividing correctly the investigated samples into previously known classes using results of both DNA micro array experiments or RNA molecules sequencing method. The DNA microchips of the patients which were investigated on lung cancer disease were used as the experimental data. At the first step, we have selected the informative genes in term of both the statistical criteria and Shannon entropy. The number of gene expression profiles was reduced at this step from 54675 to 21431. Then, we have performed the step by step clustering process using SOTA algorithm. The number of the obtained clusters was varied from 2 at the first clustering level to 512 at the ninth level. Finally, we have calculated the internal clustering quality criterion for investigated samples which are in each of the clusters. The less value of this criterion corresponds to higher separate ability of genes in this cluster. The proposed technique creates the conditions for development of both the diagnostic method and forecasting technique based on gene regulatory networks using results of both DNA microchip experiments or RNA molecules sequencing method.
