A survey of undergraduate students at a private applied sciences university was conducted. The survey, titled “Potential Interest for Students of a Private Applied Science University of Chemistry,” included 98 students from four faculties: Engineering, Pharmacy, Information Technology, College of Arts and Sciences, and Department of Chemistry. Females constituted 59.2% of the sample, while males constituted 40.8%; 61.2% of the sample were in the College of Pharmacy, 19.4 % were in the College of Arts and Sciences – Department of Chemistry, 62.2% had a GPA greater than or equal to 84, and 35.7 % were in the first year of study. The results showed that all relationships were positively significant, and that the strongest relationship was between chemistry-learning anxiety and chemistry-evaluation anxiety, while other relationships, such as anxiety ab...

The items were divided into five main items; the general knowledge of the epidemic, information among students from a scientific perspective, the impact of the epidemic on psychological and physical health, the impact on academic achievement, and the future expectations. The total number of students was 361 students. The results among the items were positive except for the effect on academic achievement, which was negative. The difference in outcomes between males and females was slight, also, between colleges. However, the difference was clear between the school years, it was found that the higher the student in the academic year, the more cognitive analyzes and awareness of this epidemic. The study found that students had a medium to a high level of anxiety, and the majority of information on this epidemic was obtained by students from social media and not from official authorities. An effective partnership of governments and their educational institutions is must ensure limiting the spread of disease and finding accurate scientific methods to contain problems that arisein society to ensure prosperity

A total of 245 eligible subjects were asked to participate in the study. The majority were females (71.0%), their ages ranged from 18 to 40 years, and most of them were between 18-22 (62.9%). As for educational qualifications, 65% were students. 77.1% of them had a good knowledge of chemistry. Most of the accidents were in the laboratory by females (68%), 78% of the accidents were by females in the household. The age of 18-22 (58.9%) caused most of the accidents in the laboratory. Also, the age of 18-22 (69.9%) caused most of the accidents in the household. 55.5% of laboratory accidents were from students. As result females and students were the major reason for chemical accidents. There is no significant difference in the average attitude towards chemical safety by age. There is no significant difference in the average attitude towards chemical safety as per education.

Students should understand skills and motivation to make responsible decisions for a sustainable environment. This research aimed to assess student EL and evaluate the influence of demographic factors on the EL level among students at Applied Science Private University in Jordan. A total of 323 students; 53.6% male, and 46.4% females- took the EL test. The test had three parts: student’s demographic profile, environmental knowledge, and attitude. The findings indicated that students had high environmental knowledge of energy, pollution, and recycling. The results also showed that students had a moderate level of environmental knowledge on issues such as environmental concerns, ecology, water scarcity, global warming, and ozone layer depletion. The lower mean scores were determined for items on time of gardens irrigat...

This is precisely why we need to don't forget the dangers. Everyone need to apprehend exactly what do in case of unstable contact with risky material. Previously we tested consciousness of Jordanian peoples and measured the employees’ interest of risky chemical compounds1. So this new seek aimed to research chemical symbols attentions, a questionnaire survey come to be executed among a whole of 245 peoples. The questionnaire come to be acquainted with flammable risky symbols as 90.6%, however handiest 7% for fitness chance symbol. Statistical assessment of the statistics come to be finished with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The effects show that the descriptive information confirmed that scholars proven truthful to excellent famil...

Tamarind beverages were produced with or without sage-oil (100 mg sage-oil). Tamarind beverage produced according to traditional processing method served as the control. The tamarind beverages were stored for 4 months at room (29 ± 2°C) and refrigerated (4-10°C) temperatures. Samples were analyzed, at regular intervals, for chemical, sensory, and microbiological qualities. Appearance of coliforms or overall acceptability score of 5.9 was used as deterioration index. The control beverages deteriorated by 2nd and 10th days at room and refrigerated temperatures, respectively. Tamarind beverage produced without the inclusion of sage-oil was stable for 3 and 5 weeks at room and refrigerated temperatures, respectively. Sage-oil extended the shelf life of the tamarind beverage to 6 -13 weeks, respectively.

The experiment was conducted in the laboratories of basic science-allied medical science, at applied science university during April -July 2013 to optimize the preservative for safe storage of mashed potatoes preparing from fresh boiled potatoes. Approved chemical preservatives have been widely used to preserve foods and increase their shelf life. There are increasing demands of the partial or complete removal of chemical preservatives from foods because of adverse health effect of chemicals. Propolis sample was collected from naour region. The antimicrobial activities of propolis against several food spoilage microorganisms were examined. Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Candida albicans, and Staphylococcus aurous, as food poisoning microorganisms were chosen. The post-processing development of contaminating microorganisms present in stored mashed potatoes ...

There are several strategies being used with corrosion inhibitors. One technique being used is the Electrochemical strategies. The gain with this technique is their brief size time and mechanistic information. It is beneficial in the corrosion's layout safety techniques besides the layout of the brand new inhibitors, there are 3 styles of corrosion inhibitors as anodic inhibitors, cathodic inhibitors, over one inhibitor. The corrosion inhibition of slight metallic in 1.0 M HCl solution with the aid of using Jordanian -Bayleaves extract has been studied with the use of potentiodynamic polarization technique. Results received a display that Bayleaves aqueous extract behaves as an anodic inhibitor for slight metallic in 1.0 M HCl solution. The inhibitor capabilities thru adsorption following Temkin adsorption isotherm. The impact of parameters like temperature and inhibitor awar...
