Since it is expected to increase dramatically, effective Hypertension management becomes more and more critical. Early detection of patients with uncontrolled Hypertension would allow to employ personalized medicine for anticipating and providing the adequate drug class. In this paper, we propose MS-LSTMEA, a Multi-Source and Explainable Hypertension prediction Approach based on Long Short-Term Memory algorithm, for predicting both the drug class for patients and the date of their next medical appointment. MS-LSTMEA can successfully combine different sources of medical information about patients, represented by tabular data, while processing them separately and differently, and taking into account the temporal aspect of Electronic Health Records. In addition, it integrates an Attention mechanism which allows to improve the model results and to explain its outcomes.

ABSTRACT Communication sur les multi-agents
Un système multi-agent pour une intégration distribuée de points de vue multiples

The challenge is to design an approach to deal with a dynamic environment in order to provide an adequate service to an elderly or a sick person at home. It is necessary to take into account constraints such as, the degree of urgency of the service and the degree of intrusion of the system. The evolution of the degree of intrusion based on the degree of urgency and the availability of the different communication devices that constitute the ambient environment are particularly targeted. Through an adaptive approach based on coalitions of agents, our multi-agents system ensures answers to various and/or unforeseen situations. Our coalitions protocol formation has been implemented in a real scenario. A more sophisticated version of our system has been designed allowing an intelligent and a declarative method for modeling the coalitions form...

SAPHIR: a collaborative multi‐scale, multi‐resolution Core Model Environment for the Physiome—with a prototype core model of blood pressure regulation and fluid homeostasis
The FASEB Journal, 2008
We present the current state of the SAPHIR project, a multi-resolution core modeling environment ... more We present the current state of the SAPHIR project, a multi-resolution core modeling environment (CME) in the spirit of the IUPS Physiome, with application to a prototype core model based on a modular implementation of the classic systems model by Guyton et al. (1972 Ann. Rev. Physiol. 34:13–44) and its extension by Ikeda et al. (1979 Annals Biomed. Engin. 7:135–166). This core model targets short- and long-term regulation of blood pressure and homeostasis of body fluids and major solutes. The aim is to provide a collaborative modeling environment enabling plug-and-play construction of integrated systems models with lumped-parameter sub-models at the organ/tissue level yet also allowing focus on cell- or molecular-level detailed models embedded in the larger core model. Thus, in silico exploration of gene-to-organ-to-organism scenarios is possible while keeping computation time manageable. The CME is built on the M2SL toolbox, a multi-scale, multi-resolution, multi-mode open source package developed in C++ by one of us (AH). Associated with the CME is an ontology-based database allowing exploration of the modules, parameter values, and equations. In parallel with the CME implementation of the core model, we also present stand-alone implementations in Berkeley Madonna (Ikeda model) and Simulink (Guyton model).

It touched almost every domain especially the learning. We notice a huge change has occurred in the methodology and means of information especially in the usage of mobile dispositive. Thus, its necessary that we model the mo-bile learning domain so that we can specialize the needs and the modeling rea-lization. In this domain both the context and the geographic position of a mo-bile learning represent the two principal concepts for modeling a mobile learning situation. Our original research is focus on the ontological modeling of a geo-localized context of a mobile learning. Self adaptability of Web services to the context are a solution for the integration of distributed, autonomous, and heterogeneous information systems. Thus impacts can resolve many problems in different system based on service oriented architecture and Web services. We are interested in the study of a certain number of context learning models with...

GAAMAAA: Generating Automatically an Adaptive Multiagent System for Ambient Assistive Applications

This kind of applications increasingly relies on a network of connected objects which are present in the environment of elderly or sick people. It deals with exploiting the connected objects of this environment to offer a service (e.g., fall detection, localization) to these persons. Since the environment is dynamic, due to the availability or the lack of connected objects and to the diversity of situations, cooperation mechanisms among connected objects must be dynamically and adaptively designed. The proposed approach emphasizes the cooperation between these different connected objects. This work is based on cooperative multiagent systems in which each agent models a connected object. We will leverage interaction protocols in multiagent systems in order to design a platfo...

However, one of the major drawbacks of these approaches is their opacity, as they do not provide results explanation and they do not allow prior knowledge integration. As the use of machine learning increases in critical areas, the explanation of classification results and the ability to introduce domain knowledge inside the learned model have become a necessity. In this paper, we present a new deep ensemble method based on argumentation that combines machine learning algorithms with a multiagent system in order to explain the results of classification and to allow injecting prior knowledge. The idea is to extract arguments from classifiers and combine the classifiers using argumentation. This allows to exploit the internal knowledge of each classifier, to provide an explanation for the decisions and facilitate integration of domain knowledge. The results demonstrate that our method effectively impr...

These reasoning models are implemented in a multi-agents system. Each agent represents one domain reasoning model. The agents cooperate because none of them is able to solve a given overall problem. So, the wish is to be a strong proponent to go towards the experimentation of original devices and students training policy in order to foster success, reduce the failure rate, significantly increase the graduation rate, and ensure a good transition from high school to university. The aim of SYNERGY project is to experiment whether Emotional Intelligence coaching helps to improve students’ motivation and learning. In its first stage, the project considers an experiment with twenty students which followed 3 sessions of Emotional Intelligence. The evaluation has been performed through EVA methodology and the results are very conclusive. Indeed, not only does the coaching increase students’ motivation and involvement in the work, but students also testify that learning seems more affordable.
