For centuries, it has been recited across the Muslim world as a timeless expression of love, devotion, and reverence for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The poem beautifully describes the noble character, mercy, and intercession of the Prophet ﷺ, inspiring believers with deep spiritual connection and emotional attachment. The purpose of this translation is to make Qasida Burdah accessible to readers who are unable to read Arabic or Urdu script. By presenting the text in Roman Urdu, this work bridges the gap for Muslims—particularly those in the diaspora—who are more comfortable with Romanized texts. It aims to preserve the essence of the original verses while offering clarity and simplicity for contemporary readers. This edition is not only a translation but also a spiritual invitation: to engage with the remembrance of the Prophet ﷺ, to strengthen one’s love for him, and to experience the blessings of his praise in a language form that is both familiar and easy to follow.
