Plants, being sessile, are adversely affected by heat stress in their physiology, development, growth, and ultimately yield. Since little is known about the response of biochemical traits to high-temperature ambiance, we evaluated eight parental lines (five lines and three testers) and their 15 F1 hybrids under normal and high-temperature stress to assess the impact of these conditions over 2 consecutive years. The research was performed under a triplicate randomized complete block design including a split-plot arrangement. Data were recorded for agronomic, biochemical, and fiber quality traits. Mean values of agronomic traits were significantly reduced under heat stress conditions, while hydrogen peroxide, peroxidase, total soluble protein, superoxide dismutase, catalase (CAT), carotenoids, and fiber strength displayed higher mean values under he...

However, other body organs including heart, eyes, skin, blood vessels and lungs may also be affected. The purpose of this study was to design and evaluate a nanoemulgel formulation of diflunisal (DIF) and solubility enhanced diflunisal (DIF-IC) for enhanced topical antiinflammatory activity. Methodology: Nanoemulsion formulations of both DIF and DIF-IC were prepared and incorporated in three different gelling agents, namely carboxymethylcellulose sodium (CMC-Na), sodium alginate (Na-ALG) and xanthan gum (XG). All the formulations were evaluated in term of particle size, pH, conductivity, viscosity, zeta potential and in vitro drug release. The formulation 2 (NE2) of both DIF and DIF-IC which expressed optimum release and satisfactory physicochemical properties was incorporated with gelling agents to produce final nanoemulgel formulations. The optimized nanoemulgel formulation was subjected to three different in vivo anti-inflammatory models including carrageenan-induced paw edema model, histamine-induced paw edema model and formalin-induced paw edema model. Results: DIF-IC-loaded nanoemulgel formulations yielded significantly enhanced in vitro skin permeation than DIF-loaded nanoemulgel. The nanoemulgel formulation of DIF-IC formulated with XG produced improved in vivo anti-inflammatory activity. Conclusion: It was recommended that DIF-IC-based nanoemulgel formulation prepared with XG could be a better option for effective topical treatment of inflammatory conditions.

In recent years, the overuse of inorganic fertilizers for higher yield attainment adversely has affected human health and the environment. Therefore, a greenhouse experiment was designed to evaluate the effects of different nutrient sources (poultry manure (PM) and mineral fertilizer (MF)) on productivity-enhancing parameters of cucumber via univariate and multivariate analyses. Amounts of PM and MF (NPK15:15:15) were added to coco-peat per cubic meter by weight/volume (w/v) ratios as follows: T1 (control), 60 kg PM; T2, 30 kg PM + 3 kg MF; T3, 30 kg PM + 5 kg MF, and T4, 30 kg PM + 7 kg MF. The univariate analysis performed on the collected data illustrated the significant enhancement in growth and productivity for the integrated use of PM and MF. Multivariate analyses (correlation, clustering, and Principal Component Analysis) validated the results of univariate analysis by differentiating treatm...

In the current environment, the functionality and the usage of Geographic Information Systems (GI... more In the current environment, the functionality and the usage of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have grown steadily, resulting in many diversified and complex artifacts. Although there is a different GIS used for other regions with different goals, they have versatile features and requirements. So, for intensive software reuse, such as Highly Configurable System Engineering (HCSE), different techniques can be applied. Despite extensive research on Highly Configurable Systems Engineering in recent years, the same has not yet been defined in the field of GIS In this research work, we identified the requirements and capabilities for a standard product of Web-based GIS. We shared them jointly, which allowed us to regenerate many of the different objects and software variants, which will enable software engineers to configure his application. We then define the functionality and technical architecture of a highly configurable system that uses current technology to develop web-based applications. Lastly, we designed a tool to configure and assemble components to generate the desired products. Subsequently, the proposed platform is flexible to create its GIS product as per each customer's specific needs.

The kneading method was used at different drug to cyclodextrin weight ratios. Increases in solubility and drug release were observed with the DIF/βCD and DIF/HPβCD complexes. The addition of hydrophilic polymers at 2.5, 5.0 and 10.0% w/w markedly improved the complexation and solubilizing efficiency of βCD and HPβCD. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) showed that DIF was successfully included into the cyclodextrin cavity. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD) confirmed stronger drug amorphization and entrapment in the molecular cage of cyclodextrins. The addition of PVA, CMC-Na or PXM-188 reduced further the intensity of the DIF endothermic peak. Most of th...

Sometimes, classification of cells becomes difficult because some cells fall into more than one categories/classes. Current state‐of‐the‐art cell classification methods have been developed on the bases of tumor cell classification but these methods cannot classify diseased or normal cells. This study investigated the performance of two classification methods traditional machine learning and deep learning (normal and diseased cell classification) to categorize normal and diseased cells. Millions of normal cells undergo controlled growth and uncontrolled growth may be involved in disease causation but their clinical applications remain limited due to difficulties in distinguishing normal and diseased cells. Previous studies are limited to identify, systematically, the normal and diseased cells. This study collected information about diseased or normal cells to check the networks for correct ce...

Various approaches have been adopted to tackle this issue. Most recently, mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) have gained attention of pharmaceutical scientists for bio-imaging, bio-sensing, gene delivery, drug solubility enhancement, and controlled and targeted drug release. Here, we have successfully incorporated the poorly water soluble antiviral drug velpatasvir (VLP) in MSN. These spherical particles were 186 nm in diameter with polydispersity index of 0.244. Blank MSN have specific surface area and pore diameter of 602.5 ± 0.7 m2/g and 5.9 nm, respectively, which reduced after successful incorporation of drug. Drug was in amorphous form in synthesized VLP-loaded silica particles (VLP-MSN) with no significant interaction with carrier. Pure VLP showed poor dissolution with progressive increment in pH of diss...

We conducted a sequence of experiments to use block division scheme to appraise the result with different parameters and amended the probability of zero point in every block of histogram. This scheme attained more embedding capacity and high-quality of stego-image. Experimental consequences prove that the proposed method effectively achieved the objective of high embedding capacity and sustaining the quality of image.
