One of the products is the audio unit and bracket. This research aims to reduce waste in production and reduce cycle time, affecting increasing production output to adapt it to customer needs. Waste identification by integrating lean six sigma, namely DMAIC, VSM, and VALSAT. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the four biggest wastes were motion, inventory, waiting, and process. After carrying out the repair activities, the cycle time decreased at station three from 704 seconds to 246 seconds, thereby increasing the capacity efficiency from 75% to 91 %.

Dampak yang paling besar adalah dengan semakin berkembangnya sektor industri dalam negeri terutama di wilayah Jawa Barat dan Lampung, maka kebutuhan gas di wilayah ini meningkat untuk masa mendatang.Kondisi ini oleh PGN harus disikapi dengan serius dikarenakan kemampuan supply untuk gas saat ini tidak bisa untuk memenuhi kenaikan gas di masa mendatang yaitu sekitar 44% kenaikan kebutuhan gas. Saat ini PGN untuk wilayah Jawa Barat dan Lampung hanya mampu untuk mensupply sekitar 590 MMscfd, dengan target PGN untuk sepuluh tahun mendatang yaitu 1000 MMscfd, maka terjadi defisit supply gas sekitar 410 MMscfd. Automotive companies produced an average defective product in Disk Brake production for the January 2019 – December 2019 period of 1.72%, while the tolerance limit of the company was 1%, where there was a difference of 0.72%. This study aims to reduce the number of defects by providing recommendations for improvement proposals. The method used is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) by calculating the company’s sigma value and using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) tools to improve the problem. This means users have no difficulties or encounter problems while using. The purpose of this study is to conduct usability testing of vision sensor-based working time measurement technology. It is meant to determine the ability of the technology to conduct work time measurement functions with the same results as the conventional process using a stopwatch. The study involves an experimental method with two factors. Based on the results of the ANOVA Two-Way Analysis (within-subject design), the first and second levels in apparatus factor shows there is no difference in the average value of the cycle time between work measurements with and without the vision sensor technology (Fobtained(4,1) < Fcritical(5,12)). Therefore, the technology designed is capable of measuring the same work as manual measurement.

In this study, synthesized silica nanoparticles by sol gel process from silica sand were conducted, with previously was controlled the size of silica sand by mechanical milling. Silica sand was milled by High Energy Milling in order to reduce the size into powder form. Effect of milling time shown the content of sodium and silicon is increased in sodium silicate solution obtained from various times of silica sand milling (30, 60 and 90 minutes, respectively) which is reacted with sodium hydroxide 8 M. The result of silica nanoparticles from sol gel process of sodium silicate solution were characterized using atomic absorption spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. It was found that the size of silica nanoparticles could be tailored with the change of milling time.

The irregular placement of finished products in the storage can cause errors in the delivery of goods due to good management for delivering goods with a relatively fast time. The effort to overcome this problem is through designing of warehouse layout with the Class-Based Storage method. Grouping based on popularity. Stages of research carried out by calculating the warehouse, the frequency of displacement, the number of storage places, the displacement distance. Improvements begin by sorting material based on frequency and variations of three classes, namely A, B, C. To design the layout, information is needed when making a new storage layout. The results showed that the layout of the optimal results could reduce the displacement distance by 17.19% in 6 months and allow space to be 73.91%.
