MPEKE-NTONGA METILA ME NYODI Alphonse MPEKE
Mpeke Ntonga Metila Me Nyodi – Alphonse Mpeke is a Pan-African thinker, social reformer, and visionary author whose work stands at the intersection of African identity, education, community development, and global justice. Rooted in a lifelong commitment to the empowerment of African peoples across the world, Mpeke is the creator of COAFRWOLOGY – a groundbreaking science of the African Worldview – and the founder of key philosophical and conceptual tools such as the ECAAD- Existential Condition of Africans and African Descents in the World ) and the COAFRWO (Nation- Global African Community organisation- Global African Social Network) the ATOOs /APOOs (African Territories and Populations Over Oceans ...
His work aims to redefine how Africans perceive themselves, narrate their histories, and design their futures beyond the frameworks of colonialism, neocolonialism, and epistemic domination. Born out of the intellectual and spiritual need to restore dignity and coherence to African lives globally, Mpeke’s contributions highlight the fragmented reality faced by Africans on the continent and in the diaspora. His concept of COAFRWO—the “Consciousness of the African and Afro-descendant Worldview”—serves as a powerful epistemological foundation for rebuilding African-centered knowledge systems and cultural narratives.
Through COAFRWOLOGY, he advocates for a complete redefinition of African sciences, ethics, education systems, and leadership models, calling for intellectual sovereignty and practical unity across African and Afro-descendant communities. Mpeke’s educational journey in Community Development and Educational Sciences in the UK shaped his critical approach to Western knowledge structures and led him to create spaces for African voices to reclaim agency. Whether addressing the Pan-African struggle through political philosophy, or highlighting the role of occult institutions and ideological domination in suppressing African advancement, Mpeke’s discourse remains unapologetically rooted in resistance, self-awareness, and transformation.
He is an active supporter and founder of the ICAWS/ IEMAC (Institut for Contemporary African Studies) and promotes the training of Pan-African leaders through curricula adapted to today’s cognitive and cultural realities, including neurodiverse learners. His book COAFRWOLOGY: A New Panafrican Science is an essential guide for those seeking a bold, authentic roadmap to African liberation and unity. Mpeke Ntonga Metila Me Nyodi Alphonse Mpeke stands for radical truth, love of African people, and the moral imperative to restore coherence to the African soul.
His voice is not just one of critique but of construction, proposing operational strategies for African autonomy, the revitalization of ancestral wisdom, and collective elevation. Through his work, he invites all those who believe in Africa to shift from resistance to renaissance, from disillusionment to disciplined, visionary action.

From a Coafrwological perspective, this is not a simple oversight. It is the deliberate perpetuation of what decolonial thinkers call epistemicide: the silencing of African sovereignty in global decision-making (de Sousa Santos, 2014). From the CEADA lens—the Existential Condition of Africans and People of African Descent in the World—the exclusion of Africa from permanent membership on the Security Council is not only unjust; it is an existential threat to the dignity, survival, and flourishing of African peoples worldwide (Mpékè-Ntonga, 2024).
Thus arises a radical but necessary question: what if Africa withdrew from the UN to found—or join—another world organization more equitable?
Religionism, in a Coafrwological perspective, is the imposition of religious adherence—through coercion, systemic pressure, or manipulation—with the primary aim of maintaining social control and alienating individuals from autonomy, cultural identity, and critical reasoning. This article introduces Spiritopsychopathology (Mpeke-Ntonga 2024), a conceptual framework capturing the psychological and spiritual disturbances resulting from coerced or imposed religion. Spiritopsychopathology spans five interrelated domains: cognitive, emotional, behavioural, spiritual, and social, providing a systematic approach to understanding the individual and societal impacts of religionism. Integrating insights from Marx, Foucault, and Fanon with contemporary research on religious trauma and spiritual abuse, this study proposes a typology and methodological framework for field research in Coafrwology (2007-2025)—the study of religion as a tool of control, alienation, and social governance.
