The unique feature of this method is that it has dedicated threads for human detection and camera control for human tracking. Moreover, it works with infra-red on and infra-red off. The method consists of five parts – training image acquisition, background subtraction, feature extraction, system training, and system testing. Firstly, some sample video clips have been taken with an IP camera for initial system implementation. The clips are then filtered to separate background and foreground. After that, some morphological operations are carried out to identify the most significant motion in the foreground. Those parts are cropped with some extra area and used to train a multiclass support vector machine (SVM) along with an image subset of the people detection dataset of The National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (French: Institut National de Recherche en Inform...

It is a leading cause of pain and disability in most countries worldwide. Aim of the study: To determine the effects of PRP in patients with OA knee. Material & Methods: A total 60 patients with OA knee were selected irrespective of sexes seeking treatment in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, BSMMU, Dhaka and also referred from various outpatient departments of BSMMU and also general practitioners outside the hospital. The diagnosis of OA knee was confirmed by history, clinical examination, laboratory and radiological findings. They were divided into two group from radiological grading (Kellgren-Lawrence grade-I-III).In group-A patients were given intraarticur steroid, exercise and ADL instructions and group-B were treated with Intraarticur PRP, exercise and ADL instruction. All the patient availed 6 follow up at two week interval and two injection were given at 1st and 7th week. In every follow up patients were assessed by Visual analogue scale (VAS) and WOMAC score. All data were analyzed statistically by using the SPSS (version-21) for windows. Both paired and unpaired Student"s "t" test and Chisquired test was done as required, to see the level of significance. The results were expressed as mean standard deviation (SD) and p<0.05 was considered as the level of significance. Results: In both groups, majority of the participants had osteoarthritis in right knee joint. There is no statistical significance regarding knee involvement between two groups as the p-value is not significant. Table-4 showed the radiological grading of two groups. In both the groups most of the patients were enrolled in grade-II (.There is no statistical significance between the two groups. In comparison between two groups, it was found that there was no significant difference in improvement up to Wl to W9 scores, but difference of improvement was found in Group A than Group B at 11 th week. (p= 0.004). There was significant improvement in Group A. In respect to time improvement was started to occur in pretreatment W1 (just before 1 st Intervention) score Vs W3 score 15.8 ±0.65 Vs 12.6±0.85 respectively (p= 0.003). W3 score Vs W5 score was 12.6±0.85 Vs 11.65±0.70 (p= 0.084). W7 (just before 2 nd Intervention) score Vs W9 score10.54±0.74 Vs 5.35± 0.57 (p= 0.004). W9 score Vs W11 score was-5.35± 0.57 Vs 2.15±0.30 (p=0.005). Whereas, in Group B, in respect to time improvement was started to occur in pretreatment W1 (just before 1 st Intervention) score Vs W3 score 16.65 ±0.48 Vs 12.42 ±.57 (p= 0.001). Then W3 score Vs W5 score was12.42 ±.57 Vs 11.38±0.49 (p=0.664). Then W7 (just before 2 nd Intervention) score Vs W9 score 9.46 ±0.58 Vs 7.89±0.85 (p= 0.050). Then W9 score Vs W11 score was 7.89 ±0.85Vs 5.65 ±0.76 (p=0.527). Conclusion: The results from this study showed that intra articular injection of Platelet rich plasma administered to patients with OA knee had significant effects in pain reduction and functional improvement. Although both treatments offered significant effectiveness but PRP injections provided sustain pain reduction and improve physical function. Both treatment was well tolerated.

Indeed, the joint damage that occurs in OA is the result of active remodeling involving all the joint structures. Although articular cartilage is at the center of change, OA is viewed as a disease of the entire joint. Traditionally, OA has been viewed as an inevitable degenerative condition of the cartilage. It is currently viewed as a biomechanical and biochemical inflammatory disease of the entire joints. Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common type of arthritis. Its high prevalence, especially in the elderly, and the high rate of disability related to disease make it a leading cause of disability in the elderly. Because of the aging of Western populations and because obesity, a major risk factor, are increasing in prevalence, the occurrence of osteoarthritis is on the rise. In the United States, osteoarthritis prevalence ...

I examine the advantages of this product over traditional crop insurance based on developing countries experience. The author tries to address the problems and challenges in implementing this insurance product in low income countries. Based on literature it addresses some problems and issues in implementing this product in Bangladesh considering context specific issues of this country. The main objective of this paper is to theoretically assess weather-index based crop insurance as an instrument to graduate poor farmers out of poverty trap. This study is a completely desk based one. Data have been collected from literatures of different sources such as journals, working papers, World Bank and other development organizations' websites and research publications those are relevant to the study. Proper preparation for index measurement, premium determination, flexible product design, wider stakeholder involvement, public private partnership, and a 'big push' from government and donors through seed financing can promote weather index based crop insurance in Bangladesh.

The samples contained Ca2+, Mg2+ and Na+ as the dominant cations and HCO3- and Cl- were the dominant anions. Ratios of major cations and anions of water samples suggest the predominance of Ca and Mg-containing minerals over Na-containing minerals. According to TDS and SAR values, all samples were classed as 'freshwater' and 'excellent' categories. The SSP of all waters was under 'excellent' and 'good' classes. All samples were within 'soft' class regarding hardness with 'suitable' RSC. Based on As3+, Zn2+, Mn2+, Fe3+, SO42-, NO3- and Cl- all groundwater samples were within the 'safe' limit for drinking but unsuitable for some industries for specific ions.

To the extent that pain and loss of function are consequences of inflammation, of weakness across the joint, and of laxity and instability, the treatment of OA involves addressing each of these impairments. Comprehensive therapy consists of a multimodality approach including non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic elements. Patients with mild and intermittent symptoms may need only reassurance or non-pharmacologic treatments. Patients with ongoing, disabling pain are likely to need both non-pharmaco- and pharmacotherapy. Treatments for knee OA have been more completely evaluated than those for hip and hand OA or for disease in other joints. Thus, while the principles of treatment are identical for OA in all joints, we shall focus below on the treatment of knee OA, noting specific recommendations for disease in other joints, especially when they differ from those for disease in...
