The use of photovoltaic (PV) systems for generating electric power is increasing in our everyday ... more The use of photovoltaic (PV) systems for generating electric power is increasing in our everyday lives but since the generated voltage and current vary non linearly it has been very difficult to trace the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV systems so to overcome with this problem many power tracking methods were introduced out of which fuzzy logic technique was found to be one of the easy and efficient maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method. In this paper, various MPPT algorithms are observed how they help in improving the efficiency of PV systems by adjusting the duty ratio of the power interface, and also understand why the fuzzy logic control (FLC) technique is preferred over other algorithms. The system was established using MATLAB/Simulink.

It is an iterative algorithm that requires a starting point to trace the maximum power point tracking. This study proposes the P&O MPPT algorithm for a 3-ɸ grid-connected PV system. In this work, the PV system is modeled as a DC grid-connected PV system, and the MPPT algorithm is applied to that model. An MPPT application is used in this proposal to amplify the effectiveness of the PV array in face of any unsteady climatic circumstances. Hence, the highest energy could be secured out of the solar PV array and interfaced with the grid. The voltage source converter will empower defining of boundaries and greatest degrees of force from sunlight-based chargers in an efficient way. A few outcomes like the current, voltage and result power for each different mix have been noted.

To convert dc voltage obtained from the solar panels, which varies with the temperature and light intensity, synchronous boost converter (SBC) accompanied with maximum power point tracking technique (MPPT) is used. The SBC with a negative feedback loop path with P-I controller is used for maintaining the voltage constant. In order to drive ac loads, the constant dc voltage outputs of two SBCs are fed to a reduced switch five level (RSFL) inverter circuit resulting in ac output voltage to drive ac loads. SIMULINK models and the output waveforms of the solar panels, SBCs and the RSFL are presented in this work.

On the other hand, these devices have some inherent drawbacks like increased number of switches, complicated control techniques and requirement of many voltage sources. A conventional topology uses 12 switches for a 7-level MLI design. In this paper, a modified reduced switch topology based 7-level inverter is proposed which require only 7 or 6 switches. Design, simulation and comparison of 7-level 7switch, and 7-level 6-switch inverters are carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. A hardware implementation of the above topologies for validation is also included.

A process can request or release resources that are either available or are on hold by others. If a process requesting a resource is not available at any time, then that process enters into the waiting state. But if a waiting state is not converted into its present state, it enters more than two processes are having an indefinite waiting state. The proposed algorithm gives an efficient way for deadlock detection. For the implementation of this work, C++ and python as the basic programming language are used. It gives an idea about how resources are allocated, and how few processes result in deadlock.

The topologies considered are neutral point clamped or diode clamped type, flying capacitor type, cascaded H-bridge type and the reduced switch version of the cascaded H-bridge type. These configurations are modeled in MATLAB/simulink software environment for an eleven level inverter. Each switch of the single phase ELI is controlled by giving pulse with the help of PWM generator. The comparison results are presented and discussed.

The antenna proposed in this work operates at 2 frequency ranges, i.e., (3300-3600) MHz and (4800-5000) MHz. The antenna design consists of four antennas that are placed perpendicular to the edge of the system and this makes it different from the traditional 5G antennas. The area of each antenna on the side frames is (3.9×17 mm), and hence can be used in ultra-thin smartphones for 5G applications. The reflection coefficient obtained in the simulations is less than -6 dB for the required band, which suggests that the required impedance matching is obtained. The antenna proposed is designed by using central time zone (CST) microwave studio.
