Taguchi technique is used to investigate the variation in number of experiments, parameter and focus on acceptance in improving man-made quality. The highest possible performance of parameters is obtained by determining the optimum combination of design factors by this technique. The present work focused by using L 9 Orthogonal Array (OA) on the processing steps to get the optimal values by conducting machining on CNC machining, and Analysis of variance (ANOVA) will employed to investigate the characteristics and experimental results which will provide the effectiveness of this approach. This technology has met the current needs of industry for making prototype and model especially owning to its shorter design cycles and improved the design of quality.

It is subjected to very high temperature variations and thermal stresses. It is found that by increasing the surface area of fins there is increase in heat dissipation rate. The main aim of this work is to analyze the thermal properties of fins by varying its geometry, fin material and thickness of fins. In order to improve the cooling rate and sustainability of the engine, heat dissipation has to be carried out quickly and in a very efficient way. In this study composite material, different geometry of fins and modelling is carried out in SOLIDWORKS and analysis in ANSYS software by use of CFD.

It has been widely used for machining applications like machine parts, rod, bolts, studs etc. It shows that good weld ability and also used for carburized parts. The present review paper study the effect of different process parameters such as welding current, voltage, gas flow rate, welding speed and gas pressure on mechanical properties like tensile strength and percentage of elongation of GMAW welded joints of MS 1018 plates. GMAW welding is a high deposition rate welding process in which wire is continuous feed from a gun or spool. GMAW welding offers several advantages like all position capable, long weld can be made, no slag etc. Optimization was done to find optimum welding conditions to maximize tensile strength and percentage elongation of welded joints. The confirmation test was also conducted to validate the optimum parameters settings. From the review papers study, it is found that when the...

Since the process features benefits of reduced forming forces, enhanced formability and greater process flexibility, it has a great potential to achieve economic payoff for rapid prototyping applications and for small quantity production in various applications. In this review paper the critical controllable machining parameters for the CNC machines like speed, feed, depth of cut, tool geometry, tool material, work material etc. which affect desired output like material removal rate, surface roughness, tool wear ,geometric accuracy are studied. One of the techniques most widely used for optimization of machining parameters is Taguchi and ANOVA approach help to determine which parameters will be most significant. The main aim of this review paper is to study the parameters and their effects on various cnc machining processes...

This study is carried out to evaluate surface roughness and tool wear while hard turning of hardened AISI H13 HRC using coated and uncoated carbide tool. The machining experiments for surface roughness and tool wear were conducted based on the Taguchi method. A series of cutting test will have done under various combination of speed, feed and depth of cut on the two performance outputs of surface roughness and tool wear. The surface roughness of the work piece is measured with the help of surface roughness tester and tool wear is measured with the help of optical microscope.

Modern welding techniques are used to ensure the optimum production. This research paper represents the optimization of welding input process parameters for obtaining greater weld strength in the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of Mild Steel (1018) is presented. The Taguchi method is used to analyze the effect of welding process parameter on the weld strength, and considered process parameters are optimized to achieve greater weld strength. L9 Orthogonal array was selected for analysis of data. From the investigation of research paper we found that the influence of Current, Voltage & Gas Flow Rate on Tensile Strength, Hardness of Weld Zone & Heat Affected Zone during welding process was validated by ANOVA using Minitab Software for each response were developed. Experimental results are provided to represent the proposed approach. From the investigation found that when increases the c...
