This paper entails an ambience section concerning the history and technology of autonomous vehicles. At present, several efficient traffic light control systems exist for autonomous vehicles and it is unfortunate that despite being one of the most popular technologies of the world, there is no complete and efficacious RF system till now. This proposed can explore traffic signals properly, which optimize the traffic signal in a city utilizing IR sensors, RF technology and micro controller, pursue intelligent path and plans to move where the desired location determines, can control the steer, can detect the front car as obstacles and maintain proper signals when turn into back or lane. Methods of identifying obstacles and potential roadways from the sonar are reviewed.

But the main constrain is the processing power and energy required to drive it. Cloud computing has come as a blessing for the mobile computing as it possesses a vast resource, high storage capacity and high processing power. In Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC), computation is offloaded to the cloud, cloud processes the data and generates information; and sends it back to the mobile device. Probability of offloading depends on line bandwidth, line length, size of data, processing speed of mobile, processing speed of cloud, storage and energy capacity of mobile etc. This paper presents a model for efficient data offloading decision, depending on the total execution time of a task when the data computation happens in the mobile and when it is offloaded to the cloud. An algorithm has been proposed here on data offloading decision. As thus an equation has been proposed to observe the probability of offloading process.

This paper deals with the design and development of an electronic voting machine using biometric fingerprint identification system in order to provide better performance, flexibility and economic advantages with higher level of security to the casting and voting system. The proposed fingerprint-based EVM allows the voters to scan their fingerprint, which is then compared with the database. Upon completion of voter identification, voters are allowed to cast their votes and votes are updated immediately. The proposed electronic voting system is fast, efficient and fraud-free. It provides better security with biometric fingerprint system, makes the voting machine user friendly and reduces the cost to a minimum level.

The system is designed without any microcontroller and it has a cost-effective design architecture. The elementary purpose of this device is to transmute 12 V DC to 220 V AC. Snubber technology is used to diminish the reverse potential, transients and excessive heat of transformer winding and transistor switches. Switching pulse generated by NE 555 timer circuit and comparator circuit was used to take signal strength input from its rear as well as from both sides for triggering the MOSFET switches. Another switch is used to invert pulse between two switching circuitries. A 5 volts regulator (IC: 7805) was used to supply fixed 5V for biasing the switching and amplifying circuitry.

Design and simulation of a forcible buck-boost controlling solar powered DC motor

Photovoltaic (PV) array were used as DC power source and Buck-Boost type Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) was used to track the power output of the motor and optimize the output of the motor at the rated speed and power. Proportional Integral (PI) and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controllers were used to regulate the DC-DC converter and control any oddity of voltage and current. Feedback comparator was used to regulate constant SMPS output. Consecutive tests were performed using MATLAB Simulink for control techniques by varying irradiance and temperature of photovoltaic (PV) array. It also showed the performance of Buck-Boost converter, DC Motor, PI controller and PID controller.
