The coils were instrumented with voltage taps and strain gauges to study quench performance and mechanical properties. The Nb3Sn strand and cable parameters, the coil fabrication details, the mirror model assembly procedure and test results at temperatures from 4.5 K to 1.9 K are reported and discussed.
