I currently work in the private language instruction business. I have a degree in Linguistics and I research language and education-related topics such as language acquisition, teaching methodology and assessment theory.

As early attempts to collect such data by Hohmann (1966) and Chwalisz et al. (1988) yielded contrasting evidence, it was necessary to formulate a new theoretical model which integrates elements from the cognitive perspective to completerather than disprove-James-Lange theory. In this paper, we reviewed and collated evidence from five recent studies which, thanks to advancements to neuroimaging techniques and new methodological procedures, provide empirical confirmation that such an integrated model is consistent with the currently available data.

Some passages from the book will be presented, explained and further analysed to provide insights about the research question.

In this approach the language course is integrated to a nonlinguistic course to provide relevant input. In this paper I will describe a CBLT-oriented English as a Foreign Language lesson plan.

I will then argue that Borges successfully established a genre of anti-realist fiction that employs metacritics, or critics discussed within a narration, and pseudocritics, or a narration passed off as a work of literary criticism, as a mean of forging a fictional story that closely resembles reality and therefore is able to enstrange the reader with a growing feeling of paranoia towards the blurred distinction between reality and fiction.

Following a body of research on how institutional dubbing in Iran manipulates films to accommodate Islamic beliefs, I have tried to understand if the non-Muslim patronage of Netflix viewers from Italy does cause films produced in Muslim countries like Turkey to be adapted and manipulated in such a way that filters out references to the Islamic culture of the characters. I analysed nine lines from one episode of Turkish Netflix show Yakamoz S-245 and concluded that there is indeed some preliminary evidence for such a claim.
