But there are some unanswered questions or complex concepts in modern physics. The questions that modern physics does not have answers for, and the physicists believe that it is due to the inability of theories. All our theories today seem to imply that the universe should contain a tremendous concentration of energy, even in the emptiest regions of space. For example; the gravitational effects of this so-called vacuum energy would have either quickly curled up the universe long ago or expanded it too much greater size. The Standard Model cannot help us understand this puzzle, called the cosmological constant problem [1]. The increasing market of mobile phones, has increased the need for electricity to power mobile ph... more The increasing market of mobile phones, has increased the need for electricity to power mobile phones, as well. This paper investigates the possibilities to charge a mobile phone by harvesting energy from the surroundings. Some technologies are better suited for this purpose than others. Through previous analyses solar cells and electromagnetic generator were found to be the most suitable solution. This paper will give a basic description of the operating conditions of solar cells and an electromagnetic generator. There will also be a short view on the electrical circuit needed for implementing the harvested energy. Calculations regarding the power produced by amorphous silicon solar cells in both sun light and light from different light emitting sources will be examined. Furthermore calculations of the spring for the electromagnetic generator and the power produced by this device will be examined. Through experiments and data processing the energy delivered by the solar cells and the electromagnetic generator is investigated, furthermore an experiment regarding the movement of the phone will be executed.

Ultrasonic Doppler-based systems for surface topography measurements are attractive alternatives ... more Ultrasonic Doppler-based systems for surface topography measurements are attractive alternatives to the transit-time-based methods. Sensors used in Doppler systems are less dependent on the speed of the sound in air, although contemporary Doppler measurement systems are sensitive to the amplitude variation of the received signal. Amplitude variation significantly affects the measurement accuracy when the surface axial displacement range is comparable with the ultrasonic wavelength. This paper presents a theoretical and experimental study of the effect of amplitude modulation on the performance of the Doppler measurement techniques. A modified Doppler measurement system that significantly improves the measurement accuracy is also presented. The fabricated sensor has 72-μm measurement accuracy using 40-kHz transducers. This technique can also be employed in cost-effective displacement measurement applications that require high axial resolution.

One way to explain this is by means of the uncertainty principle of quantum physics, which implies that it is impossible to have a zero energy condition. Bases of Creative Particles of Higgs Theory (CPH Theory) 2/22 In CPH Theory the ZPE explained by using a novel description of the gravitons. This is based on the behavior of photons in a gravitational field, leading to a new definition of the graviton. In effect, gravitons behave as if they have charge and magnetic effects. These are referred to as negative color charge, positive color charge and magnetic color. From this, it can be shown that a photon is made of color charges and magnetic color. This definition of the structure of a photon then leads to an explanation of how the vacuum produces Zero Point Energy (ZPE). According to the results of this looking on gravitons we can definitely say that the best way for unifying the interactions is generalizing color charge from the structure of photon to nuclear. These color charges and magnetic color form the electromagnetic energy. Electromagnetic energy converts to matter and anti-matter such as charged particles. Charged particles use gravitons and generate electromagnetic field. This way of looking at the problem show how two opposite charged particles repel each other in far distance and absorb each other at a very small distance. To conclude, this article shows how quarks produce vector bosons.

Therefore we should pass through the quantum scales and review phenomena at the sub quantum levels. The question is where to enter the sub quantum levels? Answer is; open a new window for massive photons. The reason this answer is that although there are theoretical reasons to accept that the photon is a massless particle. The massless particle is an assumption, also a long series of very different experiments lead to the current experimental upper bound on the photon mass greater than zero. In this article, we analyzed that c is the edge of visible and invisible particles such as virtual photons and graviton. It leads us passing the real spacetime and enter into the virtual spacetime and describe interactions between real spacetime and virtual spacetime and reach to non-obvious space.

ABSTRACT A computer algorithm for the optimal scheduling of generators in a power system is prese... more ABSTRACT A computer algorithm for the optimal scheduling of generators in a power system is presented and tested. The algorithm, based on goal programming, automatically and dynamically schedules the output of each generator in the system for optimal operation. The optimal operation can take into consideration multiple objectives such as economy, security, and reduction of pollution as well as practical constraints. To validate and test the algorithm, an example system of 5 generators, 10 busses, and 11 transmission lines is optimized for two objectives: minimal generation cost and minimal emission of nitrous oxides (NOx). Hourly changes in total power demand in the range of 90% to 110% are considered together with a constraint of maximum permissible total NOx emission. Other practical equality and inequality constraints are incorporated into the optimization algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate that the outputs of the generators can be changed smoothly and dynamically. Furthermore, using the algorithm, computer control is practicable either by direct on-line optimization or by using the feasible operation region generated as a small data-base by off-line computation.

The fabricated prototype measures the slope of the under-test surface at small holes to evaluate the roughing parameters and this makes for more precise measurement. The device comprises an ultrasonic transmitter emits sound pulses that travel across to the under-test surface. The reflected wave is separated into many weak sounds, a few of which are received by the receiver. The Doppler effect caused the frequency of the received wave to be shifted with respect to the surface roughness at the reflecting point. The relationship between the Doppler shift and the roughing slope is mathematically analyzed.Compared to the transit-time based techniques, the dependency of the sensor on the sound speed in air is decreased by a factor of 2 and therefore a more precise measurement is achieved.
