This disease is spread quickly through close contact and droplets expelled when coughing, sneezing, talking, or contacting contaminated surfaces. Some effective methods include always wearing a mask outside the house, maintaining a distance of at least 2 meters when interacting with people, and diligently washing hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. The community service program aimed to make portable and hygienic handwashing stations as a form of participation in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the community. The station is easy to move, and users do not need totouch the faucet and soap dispenser. The user only needs to step on the foot pedal to open the faucet and soap dispenser. Present, cooling technique in manufacturing proccess is developed with minimum quantity lubricati... more Present, cooling technique in manufacturing proccess is developed with minimum quantity lubrication (MQL), where 50-500 ml/hour lubricant is sprayed into the side of the contact between a cutting tool and a workpiece. The existence of lubricant can reduce the friction force between a tool and a workpiece, so the tool life can be extended. The aim of this research is to introduce the minimum lubricant technique by droplets methods. This research was done using four methods: wet, dry, MQL, and droplet. Esther oil used for lubricant. The experiment for this research also used Cyclone Denford CNC lathe machine with PLANSEE TIZIT DCMT 11T304 EN-SM inserts carbide. The nozzle was directed on flank side of cutting tool. During machining process, flank wear image was captured frequently. Machining process was stopped when flank wear achieved 0.3 mm. The result shows that the droplet method is increasing the tool life and decreasing surface roughness of a workpiece than wet or dry method. However, tool life by droplet method is still below than MQL method, but this method is simpler because there is no air pressurized. Keywords: MQL, lubricant , flank wear , droplet .

Canard configuration on fighter planes is essential for regulating flow and the occurrence of vor... more Canard configuration on fighter planes is essential for regulating flow and the occurrence of vortex interactions on the main wing, one of which is to delay stall. Stall delays are useful when the aircraft is making maneuvering or short-landing. This study observed the effect of canard configuration on various fighter aircraft models. Fighter models represented the different canard configurations, such as Sukhoi SU-30 MKI, Chengdu J-10, and Eurofighter Typhoon. Water tunnels and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) have made it easier to visualize the flow and aerodynamic forces. The results showed that at a low angle of attack (AoA) < 30°, the Chengdu J-10 and Eurofighter models had the highest lift force coefficient (Cl). When at high AoA, Cl’s highest value occurred on the Sukhoi SU-30 model with a value of 1.45 at AoA 50°. The use of this material is common as a joint component paired with metallic biomaterials such as 316L stainless steel (SS 316L), cobalt chrome alloy (CoCr) dan titanium. Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene (UHMWPE) is a plastic biomaterial developed and had bee... more Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene (UHMWPE) is a plastic biomaterial developed and had been used for decades in biomedical applications. This material is commonly produced with machining processes. One of those process is the milling operation. This method is needed alongside with the more common turning operation since there are many implant designs are not geometrically cylindrical. The milling process like any other machining techniques requires the operators to set certain machining parameter values to achieve specific objectives. One of these is the surface roughness of the materials. Rough machined surfaces were suspected to harbor more bacteria when the implant products made from UHMWPE are being used inside the human body. This study tested the influences of feed rate and depth of cut machining parameters on the UHMWPE surface roughness. The milling machining process with a SIEMENS CNC machine on the UHMWPE biomaterial was proved capable to produce better surface finish qualities. Four feed rate values between 0.2 mm/rev. to 0.025 mm/rev. and three depth of cuts from 0.2 mm down to 0.05 mm were evaluated. Third machining parameter, i.e. cutting speed was set constant at 150 m/minute. The tool is the high speed steel end milling. Achieved minimum surface roughness was found below 2 microns. A multiple regression model was developed to guide the machine tool operators to determine proper machining parameters. Statistical tests conducted and it can be concluded that feed rate is the most influential parameter. It must be set 0.05 mm/rev. or lower in the purpose to obtain higher quality surface finish.
