Globally, in less than 6 months after the outbreak of the epidemic, this sector experienced a decline of up to 74%-as it set back to 1990s. However, many tourism-related studies include the keyword or even the title 'post-pandemic' which implies a nuance of optimism for the tourism sector. Using a systematic literature review (SLR), this article explores studies that include keywords and topics 'post-pandemic' in global and Indonesian contexts. Three main points were found: First, there is a global fact that local scale tourism is more sustainable than regional and international tourism. Second, behind the losses due to the decline in income during the pandemic, there is a hidden benefit in the form of restoring natural resources that have been damaged by tourism activities. Third, the emergence of a more systematic mapping of tourist preferences in determining tourist destinations and activities, which is more oriented towards safety, health, and strengthening social relationships with family and colleagues rather than excitement and offering lower cost discounts. The article also found that most post-pandemic tourism recommendations tend to be non-operational due to their failure to provide an operational definition of what the meaning of 'post-pandemic'.

Given that these two nations are important producers and exporters of a variety of commodities, the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on the global economy is substantial. In international trade, Russia and Ukraine play key roles. Of course, this conflict also has an impact on Indonesia as a member of the world economy. It is expected that this battle may affect trade between Indonesia and the two nations because CPO and its derivatives, Indonesia's principal exports, are exchanged between them. Additionally, it is anticipated that the supply of wheat flour imported by Indonesia from Ukraine will be interrupted. By gathering, choosing, and reviewing facts, opinions, and information from books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and the internet, this study employs a literature review. The theory applied is Ralf Dahrendrof's conflict theory, which considers conflict as involving three main categories of organizations: conflict groups, interest groups, and pseudo groups. A collection of individuals who have positions and share similar role interests is referred to as a pseudo group. In the sociological sense, interest groups are groupings, and they are the actual causes of intergroup conflict. The main objective of this study is to determine how much the political and economic situation in Indonesia has been impacted by Russia and Ukraine. The result is that Indonesia has been impacted by the war in the political and economic spheres between Russia and Ukraine. The unpredictability of the trade balance had a considerable economic impact, particularly on the oil and gas and non-oil and gas industries. Additionally, because Russia is one of the biggest oil suppliers in the world, it is feared that domestic oil prices may rise. Indonesia must adhere to the political principle of being independent and proactive in its response to the turmoil in Ukraine.

This article aims to prove that the domestic sector has strengthened the existence of women. This research is descriptive qualitative by interviewing three career women in Yogyakarta. They were selected by direct pointing because these women can provide relevant information in this study. Indirect observations were carried out to explore information that was not conveyed at the time of the interview. Information from journals, websites, and newspapers was used to strengthen the data. The results showed that women’s ability to manage the household had an effect during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the Work From Home (WFH) policy. Women’s domestic roles include women’s managerial abilities in utilizing home facilities such as the living room, family room, workspac...

Four factors have been identified as that lead to the revival: first, orchestrated campaigns by local and international NGOs to protect traditional communities’ access to lands and natural resources; second, as efforts by local elites to fill the power vacuum after the centralist new order government ended; third, struggles by local groups that suffered marginalization during the previous regime to reclaim their rights; finally, efforts by local groups to adopt alternative social norms in organizing their communities. However, a more detailed description on how these revivals carried out is difficult to find. This article put forward such a description, in the case of the Rencong Telang community in Kerinci, Jambi. After almost two decades of decline, the authority of Adat can finally be restored after the corrupt elites have been replaced. Interestingly, it was personal religiosity that served ...

This research studies the political behavior of an Indonesian Islamist party named the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). Critics have argued ...

Students of political science tend to perceive Islam as merely a thin veneer of the more real characteristics of Southeast Asian societies, and that it has played little role in the political dynamics of the region. Closer analyses show that Islam does play-at least threesignificant roles in the conflicts. First, it gives those Muslim communities historical identities, that they were politically independent communities fell under colonial occupations and then trapped as parts of s ecular nation-states. Secondly, Islam supplies concepts and terms that are very effective to mobilise mass support, i.e. that the insurgencies are not only political and economic conflicts against unjust and oppressive governments but rather a holy war Jihadagainst the enemies of God. Finally, Islam provides international networks that enabled the insurgences internationalized their causes. Given the fact that Islam contributes several factors to the insurgencies among Muslims in Southeast Asia, every effort to solve the conflicts must take Islam into consideration.
