This study presents the Organizational Outcome (OOs) of one state university in the Philippines in the past three years (2020-2022) during the onslaught of the COVID19 pandemic. It was hypothesized in the study that the performances of the university differ from 2020-2022. Using descriptive evaluative design and document analysis techniques, the study collected data and documents from the website of the university. In this study, a retrospective approach was used to analyze the employment status of graduates of a state university in the Philippines from 2015 to 2019. A data mining procedure was adopted to obtain necessary data and analysis. It was hypothesized in the study that the employment rates are the same across programs per year. Also, the employment rates from 2015 to 2019 are the same as the targeted employment rate in the strategic plan of the university. Statistical treatments such as mean, median, and standard deviation, Shapiro-Wilk test, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to test the hypothesis. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, this research employed a purposive sampling technique. Visually-impaired students in the mainstream served as the subjects of the study. Hypotheses of no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their performance in Mathematics; no significant difference between the performance of the respondents in their pretest and posttest; and no significant effect of using Adapted Cartesian Plane to the subjects of the study were tested. The following conclusions were drawn after the analysis: there is no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their performance in Mathematics except in terms of their age; there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest of the respondents; and the degree of effect of using Adapted Cartesian Plane in delivering Mathematics lessons to visually-impaired students is large.

As such, it is imperative to monitor necessary parameters to increase passing percentage of teachers in LET. This study attempted to examine the relationship between performance in pre-LET and LET of 71 elementary education (BEEd) and 127 secondary education (BSEd) graduates in one university in the Philippines. Individual and aggregated data were secured from the college of teacher education dean’s office and Professional regulations commission (PRC). Using the descriptive-correlation method of research, this study presented the null hypothesis that pre-licensure is not a predictor of LET results. Findings showed that there is a notable relationship between the pre-LET and LET examination performances. This study aimed to analyze the Fractal Dimensions of pre-and licensure examination results of te... more This study aimed to analyze the Fractal Dimensions of pre-and licensure examination results of teacher education graduates of one State University in the Philippines to find the strengths and weaknesses for possible intervention programs. In this study, the descriptive-correlation method of research was utilized. Data of 2132 graduates were requested in the Office of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through the consent of the University President. Triangulation of the result was done through unstructured interview to the dean and associate deans of the different campuses of College of Teacher Education in the State University. Fractal dimensions among the ten consecutive licensure examinations were utilized. Results of the study showed that fluctuations on the pre-licensure examination performance significantly influence the fluctuations on the actual licensure performance. Also it was found that the higher the diversity on the performance in the pre-licensure examination, the more compressed is the performance in the actual licensure examination. Based on the result, it was recommended to study further the status of Licensure examination result of the universities and analyze possible predictors of fluctuations.

This study examined the research competencies and research performance higher education instituti... more This study examined the research competencies and research performance higher education institutions (HEIs) faculty as to the number of researches completed, presentations, publications, and citations. The sample included 135 faculty of 8 public and private HEIs in the Philippines. Statistical treatments such as frequencies, percentages, and weighted means were used to present descriptive data while logistic regression was used to determine a suitable independent variable that fits to the model for predicting the research performance. The results revealed that the frequency of faculty in the HEIs decreases as the analysis moves from one research performance parameter to another higher parameter. The findings also indicated that research competency of the higher education institutions’ faculty members is a predictor of research productivity particularly on the number of researches completed by the faculty. Several recommendations were given to increase research performance of the HEI faculty on research such as providing research trainings and mentoring programs.

It was hypothesized that the common cultural traits reflected in the area affect the socioeconomic and life statuses of the residents. It also tried to figure out if there are significant differences among the extent of practicing different cultural traits of the respondents. Using descriptive and inferential statistics, it was found that residents have very high extent of regards in close family relationship by maintaining good communication and securing shelter. The study involved 66 Grade 10 students. A total of 34 students were in the control group and 32 students in the experimental group. The researcher utilized quasi-experimental design (for the control group and the experimental group). The research used pre-test and post-test approach. The control group was taught using the conventional way while the experimental group was taught using GeoGebra software. The results showed significant difference between the control and the experimental group (t=-4.05, p = 0.0001). The gain score of the respondents showed significant difference (t = -8.28, p<0.0001). The findings of this study would prove teachers the opportunity to use GeoGebra software in their teaching mathematics that will enhance student’s performance in mathematics.

In this study, it was hypothesized that fractal deviation of students’ handwriting skills is significantly correlated to their non-verbal reasoning and mathematics performance. Fifteen Grade 10 high school students served as participants of the study in which their handwriting skills were analyzed through copying the prototype drawing (FD = 1.2837). The samples of students’ drawing were subjected to fractal dimension analyses to find the fractal deviation. Pearson’s correlation was used to test the significant relationship among variables. After analyzing the result, it was found that fractal deviation of students’ handwriting skill is significantly related to their mathematics competency. This research intended to investigate the patterns (trends) in the enrollment status among three transition periods of one State University in the Philippines by analyzing the enrollment trends in the past 45 years. Using descriptive research design, it validated the hypothesis of no difference on the enrollment trends for the past 45 years.
