This aquifer constituted by Lower Triassic Sandstone is composed by an unconfmed and a confined aquifer. Our interest is related to the unconfmed aquifer. However, the data concerning this formation are practically non-existent. On the other hand, the confined aquifer presents a lot of data due to the various previous hydrogeologic studies. In order to optimize the exploitation of these data, two scenarios are proposed. These scenarii were chosen in accordance with the groundwater flow state, i.e. steady or non-steady. The first scenario consists to simulate in the steady-state the groundwater flow, in the confined aquifer only. This simulation permits to estimate the boundary conditions at the limit between the confined-unconfmed aquifer. The second one consists to simulate the groundwater flow in the nonsteady state in the whole aquifer, considered as a confined aquifer. This simulation leads to a temporal estimation of piezometric heads. The comparison with data corresponding to the confined part of the aquifer makes it possible to choose the optimal boundary conditions and to simulate correctly the groundwater flow in the interest zone, i.e. unconfmed part of the aquifer. The results obtained reproduce suitably both the flow direction and the aquifer-river leakage.
