This work investigates the performance of 2DOF (degree of freedom) PID (Proportional Integral Der... more This work investigates the performance of 2DOF (degree of freedom) PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller on upper limb rehabilitation robots in order to control elbow flexion and extension with a range of 0 to 115 degree. As simple PID is not able to ensure always promising performance like 0% overshoot with fast rise time and settling time while such a performance from the controller is inevitable for patient’s safety and convenience, PID has been modified and renamed as 2DOF PID controller. A new algorithm has been adopted to design 2DOF PID controller. This work has been carried out in simulation in order to measure the initial performance of the system before moving to hardware implementation. MATLAB & Simulink environment has been considered for simulation work. Sinusoidal trajectory is considered to evaluate the performance of the controller. Magnetorheological (MR) dampers are becoming popular smart devices with controllable higher dampi... more Magnetorheological (MR) dampers are becoming popular smart devices with controllable higher damping properties. This paper presents an inclusive review of energy harvesting MR dampers. The classifications of energy harvesting MR dampers, operating principles, structural design, mathematical models, fluid models, experimental investigation, and applications are classified and reviewed. The regenerative MR dampers have self-power capability, and self-sensing capability to control higher performance and it is an important feature of regenerative MR dampers. The review indicates that regenerative MR dampers have enough power generation capacity to power MR dampers and higher damping performances. It has been found that a single-ended monotube regenerative MR (RMR) damper has maximum power generation capabilities than other RMR dampers.

In this work, implementation on image processing in underwater environment is implemented using autonomous for surveillance purposes. In this endeavor, the focus will be on analyzing the use of single vision cameras in providing data for research on environmental front underwater and also detecting depth and obstacles for better navigation. The system is able to detect solid objects in underwater and it can provide different information of marine environment using correct algorithm and technique. The result is accurate enough to detect obstacles or objects above and beneath the water taking into account the diffraction of light needed for perfect vision. The fossil fuel reserves decreased day by day which creates environmental hazardous pollutants. Fossil fuel reserved crisis leads the researchers to find out alternative sources of energy which should be alternative solution of fossil fuel energy. In this research air compressed engine which is run by compressed air by modifying a 4-stroke petrol engine (IC engine) into two stroke air compressed piston engine where air compressor acts as a fuel source. The experimental results shows a promising maximum efficiency percentages of 53.42, 35.6, 30.4, 26.67 and 23.60 under 2 to 4.5 bar pressure with maximum load condition.

Intending to contribute with the valorization of rural squanders that present transfer issues and... more Intending to contribute with the valorization of rural squanders that present transfer issues and the utilization of sustainable power sources, was looked into the rice husk burning in climatic foaming fluidized bed reactor. The technique was to assess the air overabundance impact in the pipe gases and the powder attributes. It was resolved the gases organization (CO, CO2 and NOx) and portrayed theash produced (XRD, XRF). 40%excessair advances temperatures inside the reactor around 700°C with higher change efficienciesbut declining the nebulous silica capability of the fiery debris. The aim of this work is to evaluate the output of a two-degree of freedom (DOF) proportional inte... more The aim of this work is to evaluate the output of a two-degree of freedom (DOF) proportional integral derivative (PID) controller for controlling elbow flexion and extension on an upper limb rehabilitation robot of an existing model. Since the usage of upper limb rehabilitation is increasing dramatically because of human impairment, 2DOF has been proposed in this work as a suitable controller. The 2DOF PID controller offers set-point-weight features and, hence, is fast in removing disturbance from the system and ensuring system stability. Importantly, as the system parameters are unknown in this work, the black-box model approach has been taken into consideration, using the MATLAB System identification toolbox to estimate a model. The best-fitted estimated model is then coupled with the proposed controller in the MATLAB/Simulink environment that, upon successful simulation works, leads, finally, to the hardware implementation.
