Various research works had been done and many more are in progress. With the help of remote sensing based image classification we can get knowledge about area. To classify the images swarm intelligence becomes the most approachable phenomenon by the research scholars due to its vital quality and flexibility regarding the work. In a queue of this research we are presenting a new approach to classify an image with the probability concept of honey bees. This paper focuses on the probability phenomenon of honey beef to select their nectar quality. On that basis we will classified our image objects.

This paper describes an ontology-based approach aiming at helping biologists to annotate their do... more This paper describes an ontology-based approach aiming at helping biologists to annotate their documents and at facilitating their information retrieval task. Our approach, based on semantic web technologies, relies on formalised ontologies, semantic annotations of scientific articles and knowledge extraction from texts. We propose a method/system for the generation of ontology-based semantic annotations (MeatAnnot) and a system allowing biologists to draw advanced inferences on these annotations (MeatSearch). This approach was proposed to support biologists working on DNA microarray experiments in the validation and the interpretation of their results, but it can probably be extended to other massive analyses of biological events (as provided by proteomics, metabolomics…).

This paper examines the meaning of context in relation to ontology based query expansion and cont... more This paper examines the meaning of context in relation to ontology based query expansion and contains a review of query expansion approaches. The various query expansion approaches include relevance feedback, corpus dependent knowledge models and corpus independent knowledge models. Case studies detailing query expansion using domain-specific and domain-independent ontologies are also included. The penultimate section attempts to synthesise the information obtained from the review and provide success factors in using an ontology for query expansion. Finally the area of further research in applying context from an ontology to query expansion within a newswire domain is described.

The multiplication of Very High Resolution (spatial or spectral) remote sensing images appears to... more The multiplication of Very High Resolution (spatial or spectral) remote sensing images appears to be an opportunity to identify objects in urban and periurban areas. The classification methods applied in the object-oriented image analysis approach could be based on the use of domain knowledge. A major issue in these approaches is domain knowledge formalization and exploitation. In this paper, we propose a recognition method based on an ontology which has been developed by experts of the domain. In order to give objects a semantic meaning, we have developed a matching process between an object and the concepts of the ontology. Experiments are made on a Quickbird image. The quality of the results shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Consequently, a great variety of computational approaches have been applied to table recognition. In this survey, the table recognition literature is presented as an interaction of table models, observations, transformations and inferences. A table model defines the physical and logical structure of tables; the model is used to detect tables, and to analyze and decompose the detected tables. Observations perform feature measurements and data lookup, transformations alter or restructure data, and inferences generate and test hypotheses. This presentation clarifies the decisions that are made by a table recognizer, and the assumptions and inferencing techniques that underlie these decisions.

Textpresso: an ontology-based information retrieval and extraction system for biological literature

We have developed Textpresso, a new text-mining system for scientific literature whose capabiliti... more We have developed Textpresso, a new text-mining system for scientific literature whose capabilities go far beyond those of a simple keyword search engine. Textpresso's two major elements are a collection of the full text of scientific articles split into individual sentences, and the implementation of categories of terms for which a database of articles and individual sentences can be searched. The categories are classes of biological concepts (e.g., gene, allele, cell or cell group, phenotype, etc.) and classes that relate two objects (e.g., association, regulation, etc.) or describe one (e.g., biological process, etc.). Together they form a catalog of types of objects and concepts called an ontology. After this ontology is populated with terms, the whole corpus of articles and abstracts is marked up to identify terms of these categories. The current ontology comprises 33 categories of terms. A search engine enables the user to search for one or a combination of these tags and/or keywords within a sentence or document, and as the ontology allows word meaning to be queried, it is possible to formulate semantic queries. Full text access increases recall of biological data types from 45% to 95%. Extraction of particular biological facts, such as gene-gene interactions, can be accelerated significantly by ontologies, with Textpresso automatically performing nearly as well as expert curators to identify sentences; in searches for two uniquely named genes and an interaction term, the ontology confers a 3-fold increase of search efficiency. Textpresso currently focuses on Caenorhabditis elegans literature, with 3,800 full text articles and 16,000 abstracts. The lexicon of the ontology contains 14,500 entries, each of which includes all versions of a specific word or phrase, and it includes all categories of the Gene Ontology database. Textpresso is a useful curation tool, as well as search engine for researchers, and can readily be extended to other organism-specific corpora of text. These schemes have many disadvantages in security and efficiency, as they can easily be detected and attacked. The paper analyzes the structure of hypertext files and proposes a new and more secure steganography method. This method achieves the aim of hiding secret information in hypertext by modifying the written state of the markup letters. Experiments and analysis prove that it is a method with high efficiency and security.

Using the proposed two-step algorithm, hidden bits are embedded into the higher LSB layers, resulting in increased robustness against noise addition. In addition, listening tests showed that perceptual quality of watermarked audio is higher in the case of the proposed method than the perceptual quality obtained using the standard LSB method.
