This adaptation will go through three stages, first the development of a collaborative model, secondly, the study of correspondence between the developed model and meta-model IMS-LD and their transformation to IMS-LD meta-model that reduced the MDA approach in a transformation that is based on the rules implemented in the ATL language.

The authors propose the use of a meta-ontology composed of three conceptual models. They also propose SCORM as a technical means for structuring ontology and resources. They also present the problem of adaptation as the search for the most relevant pedagogical sequence among the available ones. To evaluate this relevance, the authors propose to use an original semantic similarity measure. This allows one to measure a distance between each of the available sequences and the metadata vector returned by the decision engine. Thus, the authors recommend the educational activities that best fit the learner's learning style, as one would have thought.

In recent years, agent technology is used to design solutions that facilitate the implementation ... more In recent years, agent technology is used to design solutions that facilitate the implementation of new concepts, especially in the field of E-learning. It is widely used to model the different actors of E-learning systems and manage their interactions, to meet their dynamic and execution needs by their innovative features like intelligence and autonomy. In education field, multi-agent systems makes a great change in the society in the fact that the conventional education system requires the presence of both student and instructor at same place, the same time and at the same interval of time. This kind of system equips with these characters; and provides many advantages like autonomy, reactivity, social ability and proactivity. There are several collaborative E-learning environments using multi-agent technologies that included I-MIND, MASCE, ALLEGRO, etc. Our work aims to define the importance of a collaborative learning system, to define the roles of each actor and the different possible communications between them, to determine the tasks of the agents that can be automated. Furthermore, an analysis of existing multi-agent based collaborative E-learning systems on the basis of their various features covering collaboration features, studenttutor interaction, adaptability measurement and security in order to identify your strengths and weaknesses to determine the most suitable model to our system.

Thought they are several methods that deal with the learner model; like stereotypes methods or learner profile…, but they are likely unable to handle the uncertainty embedded in the dynamic modeling of the learner. The present paper aims at studding different models and approaches to model the learner in an adaptive educational systems, and coming up with the most appropriate method based on the dynamic aspect of this model. The aim of this study is the argue that the learner model cannot be completely modeled based on one single method through the entire development process, but it needs a combination between several methods that will help for a complete modeling.

This article addresses the interoperability between the semantic learning platforms and the educa... more This article addresses the interoperability between the semantic learning platforms and the educational resources banks, more precisely between the LOM and MPEG-7 standards. LOM is a set of metadata associated with e-learning content, while MPEG-7 is a standard for describing multimedia content. The use of educational resources has become an essential component to meet the learning needs. Given the multimedia nature of these resources, such use causes problems in the interoperability of multimedia learning objects in e-Learning environments, indexing and retrieval of digital resources. Faced with these problems, we propose a new approach for the multimedia learning objects by using the ontology mapping between the LOM and MPEG-7 ontologies.

By selecting this tab, learners will have access at any time to their recommended issues for this course, and so they can adapt their learning path. In this article, we present a recommendation algorithm that will be responsible for proposing these prob-lems according to the scores obtained in the problems already performed by the learner. By calculating the similarity with the rest of the classmates, an estimate of the most practical problems for the learner will be made. We also present the different functions and parameters to implement it.
