There's also discussion about reworking the background section in the main article. If it's merged there, it'll probably end up removed anyway. The final approach is likely going to be a few paragraphs of background total with links to other articles like the ones you linked. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 03:59, 5 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose – while the reasons given for the merge do seem to be valid reasons to me; this is still going to be an oppose for one reason. The main article is already tagged as being too large (over 15,000 words). Therefore, it's still an oppose, even though a weak one. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page!00:38, 3 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
in the "Iran build up" section, on the last paragraph of "Military and movements" sub-section; please change "CM-302 anti-cruise missiles" to "CM-302 anti-ship cruise missiles" Batavian016 (talk) 11:48, 19 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
This template must be followed by a complete and specific description of the request, that is, specify what text should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y".
The edit may be made by any extended confirmed user. Remember to change the |answered=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This is so that inactive or completed requests don't needlessly fill up the edit requests category. You may also wish to use the {{subst:EEp}} template in the response. To request that a page be protected or unprotected, make a protection request.
On February 11th, Israeli Prime Minister pitched a plan to US President Trump to assassinate Iran's top leaders in the expectation of producing favorable regime change. Despite skepticism from senior cabinet officials, including an intelligence assesment that the plan was "farcical", Trump approved of the plan on February 26th.
