
Artur Blaim
Artur Blaim is Professor of English Literature at the University of Gdańsk and member of Academia Europea. He is the author of Early English Utopian Fiction (1984), Aesthetic Objects and Blueprints. English Utopias of the Enlightenment (1997), Gazing in Useless Wonder. English Utopian Fiction 1516-1800 (2013), Robinson Crusoe and His Doubles (2016), Utopian Visions and Revisions, or the Uses of Ideal Worlds (2017). He has co-edited several volumes, including Bibliotheca Utopiana series comprising Polish translations of classic English utopias and published numerous articles on cultural semiotics, literary and filmic utopias, and William Shakespeare.
